I'm on day 9 and I've lost 7 lbs. Feeling a bit yucky past few days but nothing unmanageable. I'm new to this also so I'm interested in recipes, advice, etc. also. :)

Lately I've been doing poorly - but I do follow a keto diet. If you're new and feeling poorly you've probably been struck with the keto flu. It will pass and then you'll feel AMAZING!

Usually the "keto flu" can be resolved by supplementing electrolytes - mainly sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Sometimes, people find they need to supplement calcium too. Others find they can get by only with sodium or only magnesium supplementation (usually not magnesium oxide, as it isn't absorbed as well as magnesium citrate or some other "-ate" version of magnesium).

@Sourcake, you're doing great, just keep with it. My wife and I have been doing this for a while, we have lots of great recipes. I think the hardest part is wanting to snack on stuff cause I'm hungry, so we like to come find great snack ideas.

Love Keto!! Started 10/17 at 184... I am 154 right now. So exciting! Best advice, keep it simple. I got so overwhelmed with all the mock meals of old carb favorites. I love that you can almost always make things keto friendly, I can still eat out and not worry. AND I don't have to count calories!!!!! I hate counting calories.
