Adjusting calories when you can't walk

Hello people. So recently I sprained my ankle pretty badly. I'm in a walking boot for the next 4-6 weeks and can't walk much.
I'd still like to lose weight during this period. Id been losing pretty steady on 1300-1500 but I'm wondering if I should drop it lower until I can walk normally? Up until the injury I was exercising pretty hard three times a week.

I actually wouldn't, simply from a repair standpoint. Your body needs calories to do that. You may not lose as much weight per week as normal (though you are burning some extra to repair the injury), but personally I would make that sacrifice for quicker healing.
You may be interested in checking out this Lyle McDonald podcast, where he talks about optimal nutrition for injury recovery (he released a book on this earlier this year, which is in e-format and only $10 - https://www.bodyrecomposition.com/optimal-nutrition-injury-recovery)
