Hi guys,

So I checked my BMI last night and it said that I am 27.7 ... apparently, a healthy BMI for someone like me would be 18.5 - 25.

But my body fat percentage is only 15%.

Is that healthy for a 5 foot, 100lb woman?

You checked your BMI wrong...5' and 100 Lbs is a BMI of 19.5

I don't know what BMI calculator you were using but 5 ft tall & 100lbs is 19.5 which is on the low end of the healthy range.

Don't fixate on BMI, it's great for measuring populations but not as useful for individuals, a 6ft tall 250 lb body builder would be considered obese using BMI.

I've seen a BMI calculator posted on here which is popular on pro-ana sites. It's completely skewed to make people think they're overweight.

That's a borderline unhealthy bodyfat percentage... you want to focus on that not your incorrectly calculated BMI
