Kitty pics for those who love kitty pics

I am afraid of these creatures. I've pet countless dogs including strays and I never got bitten but cats always bite and scratch me even if I give them food.

There is this stray cat living around my house. I've been bringing her food for 6-7 months. She always rubs against me when she sees me outside. Last month, for the first time, she jumped in when my room's window was open and i fed her. She came again the next day. I've been letting her in since last month. She usually comes 4 or 5 times a week. When i see her, i lock my dog in another room, open my window and she jumps in. I give her food, let her sleep on the couch. She stays the night sometimes. She always circles me and rubs against me when i am standing. I tried to pet her a few times but she tried to bite and scratch my hand. I saw something like this cat petting guide before so i know where i should or shouldn't touch. I want to pet her so much but she just doesn't let me. I'm thinking if it could be because i have my dog's smell on my hand.

I can only tell who the face belongs to because of the three white whiskers, lol.
