12/09 140.9 so down .70lbs Yay Still going strong, Cheer comp this weekend though so long days and very easy to eat wrong - but we'll see....
12/10 Didn't weigh this morning - day 2 of comp - woke up to snow so we just got ready and legged it out the house!
12/11 144.60 - according to the scales 3.7lbs on. I know I didn't drink enough over the weekend and I didn't properly track my calories - too difficult when at comp. Not felt great so been sucking on throat sweets and drinking Lemsip drinks too. But I know if I was over it was only a little - I did eat a lot more carbs than normal - but I know it wasn't 13,000 calories worth to justify 3.7lbs so I'm not disheartened! Back on it again this morning as normal and drinking plenty of water. Go away next Thursday so just over a week to go to meet my under 140lb target - I will do it!
12/12 141.30 - 3.30lb down - a whooooosh and then some!!! Shows how much weight can vary depending on what you eat in a day even when you don't exceed calories! No cycle last night either - way too icy out there for me. So overall 0.30 lb since the start of the round - all good - and still intend and on track to finish this round under 140 ...... good food day planned, water bottle is by my side and gym tonight.
12/13 141.60 - slightly up but am blaming TOM and the fact that I am full of cold and a sore throat so been having hot lemon paracetemol drinks and throat lozenges as food was spot on yesterday. Not disheartened - food planned for the day is all good and keeping on with the water drinking - bottle is next to me (alongside the box of tissues!!)
12/14 141.80 - ho hum....... didn't drink my normal water levels yesterday - plenty of lemsips though. Also only had a light dinner (soup) as didn't feel much like a heavy dinner and still up 0.30lbs!!! Cold and sore throat still annoyingly hanging around. however I shall carry on, try a bit harder to drink more water today. Gym session planned for tonight with my PT - will still go - may just ask him to be a bit gentle on me though tonight! Go away next Thursday for a few days leading up to Christmas and would so love to be under 140 ........... There is still time.......

12/18 141.90 Frantic weekend and totally forgot to weigh in! Remembered this morning but already had a cup of tea so to finish at 141.90 was all good! Not lost this round but holding relatively steady and still 9.50lbs down since joining in round 22 which I am so pleased about. Go away Wednesday until Christmas then home for the festivities in full - not going to stress about weighing in but not feeling the desire to go too overboard - no doubt I will weigh more post Christmas but am in such a better place to get any post Christmas pounds off.6 -

12/10: 180.8 Ate out two meals yesterday and still managed to stay under calories. 14K steps helped!
12/11: 180.0 Had to make myself go from 7500 steps to 11K in the cold, after dark, but I did it!
12/12: 180.6 I was hungry all day yesterday, so I ate some of my exercise calories and drank lots of water which is something I may need to start doing. 10K steps
12/13: 180.4 Need to MAKE time for working out but it’s such a busy time! Wasn’t hungry at all today, so I don’t know why I felt like I was starving yesterday. Hoping for the gym tonight. Buying new clothes is fun though! :-)
12/14: 179.0 WooHoo!!! Had a great day yesterday, even experimented with a Christmas recipe using turkey meatballs instead of beef. Went to the gym and got in 14K steps. Success!
12/15: 178.6 Party tonight so I’m up early and headed to the gym this morning.
12/16: 182.2 Well, I knew it would be bad after the party. Too much Prosecco punch in addition to all the foods that I haven’t eaten in forever. Going to work hard today and tomorrow to see how much I can get back off by Monday. Fingers crossed!
12/17: 180.4 Lost exactly half of what I gained from the party! Walked the neighborhood during the warm part of the day, went to the gym after dinner for rowing, arctrainer (strength), and treadmill for almost an hour. Super careful with the "food in” yesterday too and was way under calories for the day. Tried a new Skinnytaste recipe last night (Shepherd’s Pie), and hubby and I both really liked it. Hopefully I can lose enough today to get back into the 170s, which was my goal for this round.
12/18: 179.8 I DID it! Made it back into the 170s (barely, but hey, it counts, right?) That fast walk after finishing up with the baking when I really did not want to go last night, was just the ticket!8 -

12/09- 146.3 Absolutely exhausted. Trying to catch back up on sleep. Within calories, but no exercise today.

12/12- 144.98 Continuing with my routine of tracking everything that goes into my mouth
12/13- 144.98 Went over on my calories today. I've been out of the house and didn't make great choices. (fish and chips) Now I'm home my stomach is growling... Tomorrow is a new day.
12/14- 144.76 Well this is a surprise. I collapsed last night before grabbing more to eat.
12/15- 145.42 Think this is probably normal fluctuation. Made sure I had dinner before going out Christmas shopping tonight so I would have no excuse to snack while I was out.
12/16- 144.32 I don't know why, but I have been hungry all day. I might have a broth in a few. The warmth usually makes me satisfied and sleepy.
12/17- 144.98 Dinner over a friends house and then a caroling service. Didn't eat a bunch, but when I guesstimated I was over calories. Then because I didn't eat enough I had food late at night because my stomach was growling and I couldn't sleep.
12/18-145.86 Started the challenge making great progress, but completely sabotaged myself by making some poor food choices. At this point I think it is safe to say I won't make my 20lbs by Christmas, but I am proud to say I have remained at a "healthy" weight for the past week and that is what matters more to me.

12/9 - 165.2 - What a nice start to this round.
12/10 - 166.2 - Oh boy......no workout, no water and dang that homemade apple cobbler I made sure was good.
12/11 - 167.8 - Good grief, this is not going very well!. It's all on me though. Another day of no workout, no water and basically just laying around being a bum. It's not something I do often but sometimes I just need the down time. Leaving in a few minutes to run, lift and stair master. I have a day full of errands, projects and farm work this afternoon. Tomorrows weigh in will be much better!
12/12 - 166.4 - Yes!!! Going in the right direction now. Gym, water repeat.
12/13 - 167.0 - Well fire.
12/14 - 167.2 - Perhaps those two glasses of wine weren't such a good idea. Off to the gym to correct the error of my ways.

12/16 - 164.0 - WooHoo!!!! At my goal weight for this round, now just to hang on. Push the water and be mindful of my calories today. I don't normally exercise on the weekends, but I may try to get a run in later.
12/17 - 163.2 - Good stuff. Sorry to say it won't look that good tomorrow. Just got back from a family Christmas dinner and I ate lots of good stuff. I'm paying for it as I feel like garbage.
12/18 - 164.6 - Yesterday sure is showing up this morning. Still had a loss this round so I am happy.

I'm back, and I can hear Mom in my head telling me that she knows how hard it is to lose weight and not to lose too much because being healthy is important too. She was always a worrier. I'm going to keep at it for her. She'd want me to.

12/09 164.6 *fingers crossed that I stay at the lower end of the 60s* Had my niece and nephew over to spend the night, and I started working on progress reports. I didn't get as much fluids in, and I can tell. I feel like my mouth is dry this morning.
12/10 164.4 My sister-in-law and I took our 4 kiddos out for breakfast with Santa. Then, we went with my parents to dinner, to see Winterland (1 million Christmas lights display), and finally the tree at Monument Circle. They had hot cocoa (I refrained), and we joined a street performer for some Christmas carols. Thought of Mom and how she would have liked to join us. She's in my thoughts daily.
12/11 164.4 I love to bake over Christmas. Don't most of us? So, I started my treats last night. Sugar free, Pineapple Whip. I went for a healthy option.
12/12 165.4? I have absolutely no clue. Maybe due to the amount of steps I took. I drank a lot of fluids, and I ate under calorie which I haven't been doing.
12/13 164.4 Back to where I was. Whew! Lol I spent the day running errands AFTER I left work and came home to find a surprise here at the house. It was the lighthouse ornament we ordered. Mom loved lighthouses, so we bought the Hallmark 2017 one in her honor as a way to remember her on our first Christmas without her.
12/14 164.2 I stayed late lasy night at work. All of us teachers were making caramels for a cookie tray. Then, I went to my son's band concert. He plays tenor sax, and he had a part all by himself. He did beautifully.
12/15 164.4 A foundation and crawlspace repair company is at our house today and was yesterday. My husband and I also took our oldest son on a walkthrough of a different school district. There's a HUGE problem with the school he is currently in with bullying, and we have been considering our options.
12/16 163.6 I don't know what to say really, but YIPPEE! I hope it sticks, and it was nice to see this number. NEW LOW...REACHED GOAL!
12/17 165.2 I finished my Christmas shopping! Yay!!! I know there's been a HUGE jump today, and I'm okay with that. I went out to eat last night at a local Mexican restaurant, and I could tell their salsa had WAY TOO MUCH salt; however, I don't treat myself off my diet very often, so I did. I'm sure it'll go back down in a few days. I'm okay with this.
12/18 164.6 The number is going back down now. I didn't end the 10 days where I wanted to be, but I know it's just fluctuation due to water retention and sodium from that dinner. I still count this round as a success because I reached a new low, and I know I'll get back there again once I start pushing more fluids. On another note, an elf named Jinx showed up at my house and TP'd our Christmas tree. What a stinker!

12/9 – 219.4 – I hate Fridays and Weekends – you know it’s going to be bad!
12/10 – 221.4 – Thank god it is Sunday and I can start getting back on plan!! Somehow, I have to be better on weekends.

12/15 218.4 – HAPPY DANCE DAY – finally almost a week later I am at my starting weight and the weekend is coming – OH KNOWWWWWW – but guess what – even though I have a Christmas party tomorrow night I WILL not overdue it this weekend! I WILL NOT have a 3-pound gain again and start over on Monday. I will do this weekend right!!
12/16 – 220.8 – well once again I have gained an obscene amount of weight over the weekend and so now I need to figure out how to get my act together so I don’t keep gaining weight on weekend. Good golly what am I going to do when I have 5 days off ☹
12/17 – 219.8 – So I won’t be back to 218.4 but I will take this number if I can just keep my eating under control and exercise a bit more! Even house cleaning will count today. I have logged 1700 steps so far and my plan is 15000 to counter act the extra calories you know I will eat ☹ My standing desk arrives on the 22nd and I cant wait to get it set up at work.

My goal is to reach 10% body fat by year end... actually by 12/30 because that is when my Dexa is scheduled. I'm going to list weight and BF% based on my scale, which is going to fluctuate at times as diet changes. On some days - and I know when those are based on diet - it will be inaccurate.
Round 22:Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
11/9 - 149.6 lbs. - 16.8% - scale is reading higher than actual BF%
11/10 - 148.4 lbs. - 15.9% - scale is still higher than actual BF%, but getting closer to actual
11/11 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.9% - scale is higher than actual BF%, this time not expected
11/12 - 148.6 - 16.8% - scale is still showing higher than actual BF%, still not entirely expected. I have a theory as to what is driving the incorrectly high BF%.
11/13 - 148.6 lbs. - 18.5% - Yesterday was a re-feed / glycogen replenishment day. I'm surprised weight did not also increase, but expected BF% to be unreliable. I expect it to remain that way for the next 2-3 days.
11/14 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.4% - Depending on whether I eat a lot of fibrous green vegetables today, BF% will either stay pretty stable by tomorrow morning or will decrease. I may find it hard to feel full without lettuce or green beans... but since scale BF% is just artificially high if I eat them and real BF% is not truly much different, I'm probably going to eat greens if I'm hungry anyway.
11/15 - 146.4 - 15.6% - No veg yesterday, scale is closer to a correct BF%.
11/16 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9% - No veg yesterday again, and BF% is almost right where I would expect Dexa to come up. The idea that eating low carb green / fibrous veggies would affect the scale BF% so much is a relatively new revelation. Thinking back, the last Dexa was 0.3% lower than the scale on that same day (that is extremely close); and my scale is ALWAYS higher than any other measurement method or device - including other bio-electric impedance devices, which are always super low. When that last Dexa was taken and it was almost the same as the scale, I had not eaten plants for 45 days prior (except coffee, tea, and small quantities of seasonings and sauces). I still plan to eat some low carb (net carb) fibrous veggies while I continue to strive for 10% BF by 12/30, but will do take breaks occasionally to get a better idea of where Dexa will come in.
11/17 - 147.8 lbs. - 13.9% - Slight weight increase, not sure why... probably water weight. Another day without veg and BF% is spot on as close as I'm going to get to being real. Tomorrow is going to be high again based on today's planned diet.
11/18- 146.0 lbs. - 15.4% - Did not expect weight to decrease, but expected reported BF% to rise.
Round 23:Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
11/19 - 145.8 lbs. - 13.5% - Did not expect BF% to drop this much this fast.
11/20 - 147.6 lbs. - 16.2% - Both increases were expected based on yesterday's food plan. Should see decrease over the next few days until Fri. morning, which will go back up again.
11/21 - 147.0 lbs. - 15.7% - Expected a small decrease. Expect another small decrease tomorrow.
11/22 - 146.6 lbs. - 15.3%
11/23 - 145.6 lbs. - 14.8% - Will be higher tomorrow.
11/24 - 147.2 lbs. - 14.4% - Did not expect BF to decrease, but maybe that is delayed...
11/25 - 145.8 lbs. - 15.2% - There is the delayed fat storage.
11/26 - 145.2 lbs. - 15.7% - Did not expect another rise in BF%, but I can only assume it is continued delayed fat build. Tomorrow will be higher probably of both weight and BF.
11/27 - 146.4 lbs. - 17.0% - Increases expected.
11/28 - 150.4 lbs. - 14.6% - Had a spontaneous free meal yesterday and paying for it with weight gain - meal itself was probably around 4-5 lbs., including water in food... so this is about right.
Round 24:11/29 - 149.4 lbs. - 14.9% - For this round, I'm going to make a few changes. I'm not sure exactly what to expect at the beginning, but should have lower BF% by the end of the 10 days.
11/30 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9%
12/1 - 144.4 lbs. - 14.7%
12/2 - 144.8 lbs. - 13.3% - I'm thinking this is about right again for BF%, but let's see if that holds for the next few days without changes that affect the scale calculation.
12/3 - 142.2 lbs. - 16.1% - BF definitely reading too high, but not sure why this time.
12/4 - 143.2 lbs. - 16.2% - Definitely unexpected BF... consistent with yesterday, but still incorrectly high. Unsure why.
12/5 - 140.4 lbs. - 14.9% - Some time in the bathroom this morning revealed what I think is causing the suddenly abnormally high BF% (no, not pregnant, lol). Solved part of the issue this morning, but still some to go.
12/6 - 140.2 lbs. - 12.9% - Before measuring today, spent a bit more time in the bathroom getting rid of more of what is causing the false high BF% readings.
12/7 - 141.4 lbs. - 13.1%
12/8 - 139.8 lbs. - 13.5% - I was expecting to start this round with some wonky numbers; but end up close to accurate and drastically improved weight and body fat %. Ended up losing 10.6 lbs.; about 3-4 lbs. of which was fat. I struggled in the first couple years of dieting where tracking calories didn't work and nobody could figure out why; but much learning and experimentation and I consider myself to know my body very well now and can call myself a very advanced dieter. That said, the 10% body fat goal by 12/30 is still going to be very difficult and a tight goal... but I believe it is possible.
*Next round will once again start with some high and wonky numbers at first and end up drastically better by the end.

08/12 - 192 - R24 - The round that I ran out of anti inflammatory pills and my pain came back on like a train, also the round I found out my doctor wasn't really going to help me out, I have more pills now and I think slowly but surely they are starting to work again ... I have around 4 -6 weeks to wait to see a physio and around 35 weeks till I get to see a spinal specialist ... yay for long waits while in pain!
09/12 - 192.6 - had a little relief from my pain, so I done some xmas cleaning (something I am having real difficulty with at the moment, bending and stretching is the worst) after 1 hour I was laid up for the rest of the night in agony, had to sit in an upright position for any relief. looks like my house won't be clean for Santa!
10/12 - 192.4 - went out for a walk today at the xmas German market in town, still walking slowly but I get there in the end!
11/12 - 192.6 - 5 miles on the stat bike and calories higher than I intended -- i can still easily pull them back by average thou.
12/12 - 192.6 - lots of strength exercises today with some flex and cardio .. 2 1/2 hours total, im still in pain. so everything is modified ... the pain got worse later on at night ( due to pushing myself, i guess) so i went to bed and read a book ... and fell asleep early

two freaky high weights this 10 days shows a gain of 0.3 lbs in my avg weight ... but I also got 1 new low weight ... so not all together a bad 10 days ..

12/09- 145 I felt the difference this morning when I woke up. My stomach shrank a bit...Yay!!!

12/12-145 must be that I gained muscle, because I have stuck to diet and exercise...including lifting weights
12/13-145 hanging in there....still doing my 30 day Shred, sticking to my low carb diet and decreasing alcohol.
12/14-145 hopefully I will see a 144 or 143 soon. Patience is a virtue.
12/15-146 oh dear, I did everything right and didn't even have any wine. I did the 30 day Shred later in the afternoon...The only things I did different is drink more diet soda, no alcohol, and woke up at 2 this morning. I am discouraged because I actually felt slimmer this morning...oh well, I will keep on keeping on and have my focus and faith. I will stay determined and end the day knowing I did my best.
12/15 145 at 7:30 am....after yogurt and coffee. I guess I lost a lb in a few hours. I too the first weight at 3:30 am.
12/16 143 YAY! finally!
12/17 144 I am tottering. For dinner I had a Morningstar meal that had a bit more carbs...Japanese Soba Noodles....Too many carbs for me...pretty tasty, but too many carbs...I think that is why I gained...
12/18: 143 okay, I am happy...losing 3 lbs. in 10 days... with around 30 days in a month...with losing 2-3 lbs every 10 days- that is between 6-9 lbs a month. That means if I stick to this, I should be at my goal of 115lbs. in around 3-5 months from now. That is between April and June.....not that is inspiring....!!!8 -

12/9 - 244.2 - Ugh wine.
12/10 - 246.4 - Spent yesterday hungover, eating, and not exercising. This scares me. It's been over a month since I've been this heavy. I. Have. To. Change.
12/11 - 246.2 - I did my C25K W2D1 run yesterday. If I had had my food under control, it would have been a bigger loss. I'm trying, but being out of my routine is killing me.
12/12 - 243.6 - Thank goodness. I was really starting to panic that I was rapidly approaching the 250s again. Tonight is my run, so hopefully I'll have more loss tomorrow!
12/13 - 243.4 - Talk about being out of my routine! Spent 2 hours yesterday with the adjuster and contractor. But, I still did my run and I felt pretty good when I woke up this morning.
12/14 - 242.6 - I have not been doing anything about food. I know I need to get after it, but it's just so hard for me when I'm not in my normal routine. Between everything going on at work, the roof, and the holidays, it's not likely to happen until after the first of the year. I'm keeping up with the running program. That's the absolute bare minimum I'm expecting of myself. Then, if I can't get food under control before then, in January I will redouble my efforts there.
12/15 - 240.0 - Gotta keep this trend up! Did my run last night, felt really good afterwards. Tomorrow I'm celebrating Christmas with my family, so hopefully I can stay on track!
12/16 - 244.0 - Sigh. I've been wanting chips and salsa for over a week and I gorged myself last night. Definitely paying for that...
12/17 - 246.0 - This weekend has been bad...
12/18 - 244.2 - Well...I'm not pleased with how I've done this past month. But, I will say I at least have an NSV - I started the C25K challenge and I haven't missed a run yet. Last night I did W3D1. I'm going to keep this up and once my routine returns after the holidays, I'm going to really focus on my food again so I can start making progress again.8 -

I haven't really been setting weight goals for the last few because I was struggling, but I think I will for this one. I want to end in the teens. I'm hoping to end at 219. Let's do this!

12/09 219.8 I really don't believe this. There is no way I have lost 1.1 lbs in a day! However, for today l will take it! Date night with the husband, so we will see what tomorrow brings!
12/10 219.8 This is crazy! I'm still struggling to believe this is my actual weight. Pushed a lot of water yesterday, it's been very dry here so that is making it easier. Doing some Christmas shopping today!
12/11 221.1 Totally understand where this came from. Panera pastries, not enough water, and to much salt! I love my husband dearly, but I tend to eat like he does when we are out and about, and that's not good for me! I need to get better at that. Today, I plan on doing some grocery shopping, getting at least 30 mins of exercise, and drinking at least 2 liters of water.
12/12 221.1 Only did five mins of exercise yesterday, and didn't drink enough water. Today will be better.
12/13 220.0 better! Ready to make this go down further! More water, and at least 30 mins of exercise today!
12/14 218.5 Bam! Water-drinking is paying off! Also been moving more, although very little actual "exercise" in the last couple days. I plan to actually exercise today and continue to drink lots of water.
12/15 218.5 Yay! Still here! Moving into the weekend, so I need to be diligent about making healthy choices and definitely need to exercise! Maintaining the water drinking as well!
12/16 218.5 Did ok yesterday. Eating enough was an issue, which isn't normal for me! Today I'm traveling to see my niece's ice skating event, so I really need to make smart choices where eating is concerned. Also since I'll be in the car for four hours and seated for another 3 at the event, I HAVE to exercise when I get home tonight.
12/17 218.5 If I can just stay here for one more day, I can call this round a success! I can do this! Lots of water and movement today.
12/18 218.5 Yes! I did it! I stayed under 220! Very proud of myself and hope to stay in the teens through the next challenge!

For this round I'm going to try to keep every day consistent. Could be a bit tricky with so much on the go this time of year, but its a lifestyle change I've got to make.

12/10. 189.6. After a Saturday night involving chili, garlic bread and a good zin, I’m really pleased. Maybe there is something to this moderation thing after all.
12/11. 190.4. Not bad for a Monday morning. Should be able to do better on week days.
12/12. 189.0. Now to really keep it in check for the rest of the weekdays
12/13. 188.8. I really like the look of the scale today, three snowmen! Going to do my best to keep it around here for the rest of the round.
12/14. 188.6. It’s looking like losing a little every day shouldn’t be a big problem, the problem will be cutting out the days when I stuff on a lot.
12/15 188.0 Great, but there is a bit of a problem. When I tracked on my own, I'd go Friday-Friday. The way this cycle works out this time, I'm aiming for a good weight on Monday and weekends can be trouble. Before I'd be able to indulge on the weekends then spend all week struggling to get down to where I was the previous Friday. Oh well, just have to chose wisely which temptations I give into over the next few days!
12/16. 190.4. Not unexpected. My son and fiancé got in from university for the holidays on an evening flight so pizza and wine later than I usually eat. No regrets, try to stay on schedule today and tomorrow.
12/17. 189.6. Just to be able to stay in this range is a bit of a victory.
12/18. 189.2. I’m really pleased with this round. I never had any large sudden increases and stayed in the same range. A small decrease over 10 days so I’m more than happy especially for this time of year!

Oh dear...facing the music from my wedding and honeymoon. Just got back yesterday and on the scale for the first time this morning. Worth every lb gained...lots of water today to see if I can flush out a lb or 2.

12/11 - 152.4 - I have a feeling the scale's going to be a bit wonky for the next few days until I readjust. I'd feel pretty good about settling somewhere around here after all the debauchery in Mexico
12/12 - 150.8 - sweet...
12/13 - 150.4 - feel like i'm settling into what's real in terms of the vacation gain and I'm good with it. Now trying to figure out what my routine looks like to lose another 10-15 lbs without the motivation of a giant looming deadline.
12/14 - 150.4 - it's been easy to get back to my clean eating habits with a bit more variety. A few months of eating this way pre-wedding seems to have changed my tastebuds and cravings significantly which is super exciting! No success so far in getting back into my exercise routine...I've got my trainer scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully that will get me moving.
12/15 - 150.2 - I will not cancel my trainer this morning...I will not cancel my trainer this morning.
12/16 - no scale - my trainer cancelled on ME yesterday....still not exercising...will try again next week.

12/18 - 150.6 - not bad thanks to fancy dinners, no scale, and oatmeal pies this weekend...pretty good during the week. But weekends have become tougher than before my vacation. Xmas crazy coming up....just hoping to maintain really.8 -

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds but haven't lost in a couple of months. I am aiming to reach goal of 139 before New Years. It's been verrry slow the last couple months.

12/13...141.4 More wine! 'Tis the season. I fear I have become too comfortable about this weight - feel better and clothes fit better and that is why I've not been really working to lose. Allowing myself too many treats. That, and I'm cooking way more for others and not for myself since my son and grandson moved in with me. I need to get my attitude adjusted as I'm only 2/3's of the way to my goal and have been here for months.
