Back up a bit but I had a lot of salt today. But, saw my surgeon this morning and have the OK to slowly start going to the gym again. So will have more progress from here on out.

12/09 - 152 lb. Gained two lb since surgery day. Time to start fresh!
12/10 - 150.6 lb. Probably mostly water weight since I've been slacking there, but I stayed in calorie limit yesterday!
12/11 - 151 lb. Drank a lot of tea yesterday, and had a good bit of salt probably. Going out for a walk today.
12/12 - 150 lb. Gotta get back into drinking more water. I drank a lot after surgery then took a break lol.
12/13 - 150 lb. Had a zeppoli at lunch for Chanukah; gonna have to make up for that later lol.

Don't know what's going on! Eating within calories; exercising! Need to drink more water! My back has been hurting all week, maybe inflammation?? No matter; persistence is the key! Something's got to give, and it won't be me!

Water and inflammation! I haven't really been working out like I should since my back has been hurting; now it's spreading into my hips and legs! Really don't want to make a doctor's appointment because I have one with the urologist on the 19th. Had one with the Gastrologist (sp) today, but I didn't make it! Tired!

Haven't been exercising this week because of back pain radiating down into my hips and legs! Been taking muscle relaxers and pain meds; also wearing back brace. Need to make doctor appt. but I already have one with the urologist next week, so I'll have to wait until after Christmas. Been drinking more water and watching what I eat! I'll be out of town for the next 3 days, but I still intend on making my goal this round! Onward and downward!

12/9: 159.8 Two days in the 150s... maybe a gift to keep me on track? Christmas tree today, and my brother is in town. They want to go out for breakfast. Breakfast is my kryptonite!
12/10: 159.4 Ordered the oatmeal with bananas and walnuts. Was craving my SIL's beef stroganoff recipe last night, so made it with low sodium broth and the no yolks pasta... delicious! Three holiday get togethers today. Must stay disciplined.
12/11: 159.3 Gym has been closed for renovations since the 7th. Back open on Wednesday. I miss my running!
12/12: 158.9 Hubs texted me last night... gym WAS open! I am finished with the C25K and moving on to 10K. Did 4 miles last night. Helped me with my work stress. Company party was this afternoon. A little too much wine, but limited myself to one plate of food.

12/14: 159 couldn't complete my run last night... just did not have the energy. Today I have been hungry. Ate out at lunch, and nibbled on sugary holiday treats from vendors at work. I am trying to get up the energy to work out now, but am cozy by the Christmas tree...
12/15: 158.8 Thankful for the elliptical in the garage last night. Did 30 minutes and then took the dog out for a walk... it was freezing! I feel like a cold is coming on today, so drinking the water and emergen-c.
12/16: 159.4 Oh snap. Am not feeling well at all today; have tried to bake and nothing is turning out right. Losing my patience with my teenage children today. Think it might be TOM, but who knows; it's never predictable these days. I didn't work out yesterday and have not today... just want to crawl into bed...
12/17: 158.7 Okay. Time to reset. Yesterday was a pretty high carb day with the testing of failed holiday treats and a caroling party... did not feel like eating much, but what I did eat was lacking in nutrients. Time to clean the fridge and set myself up for a better week, food-wise.

12/09 147 I have a full day ahead and do not feel well! Stupid cold or allergies??
12/10 147.5 Crazy busy yesterday! Community breakfast bingo, three basketball games, Christmas lights at the museum, dinner at a casino buffet before free music in the lounge. Did not drink enough water!! And I’ve pretty much lost my voice.
12/11 147 Did nothing yesterday. Trying to recover from Saturday.
12/12 146 I am feeling better but this is a crazy week. Grand-girls have basketball 2 hours away today. Must remember to drink, drink, drink!
12/13 146.5 After checking for restaurants online before we left for basketball yesterday I felt confident I would be able to eat on plan. LOL Lesson learned, the internet lies! I should have made some tuna salad and hard boiled eggs to put in the cooler! I did drink 3 quarts of water or more.
12/14 146 And so the feasting begins! Community Holiday Dinner tonight.
12/15 148 Expected. I ate, drank and was merry! Community Arts & Crafts Christmas luncheon at Olive Garden today.
12/16 148.5 This is still expected. It will be 2 or 3 days after the food fest before my weight stabilizes and since there will be food prepared by others this afternoon, I will do my best. Yesterday I had grilled chicken parmigiana at Olive Garden. Half at lunch and half for dinner. I got broccoli instead of pasta and 3 servings of salad - no croutons. Heading to the rodeo- our dentist is a roper! Cocktails and Crafts meeting and lunch
12/17 148.5 Yesterday’s food fest - Zucchini lasagna, berries, Keto pumpkin cake trifle, vodka and diet cranberry cocktails! More vodka with soda water at the casino. Have NOT had enough water the last 2 days. Today’s activity will be coughing as drainage is tickling my throat and nothing seems to help!

12/10 - 224.1 - NSV - I didn't eat the cookies and chips I was craving all day.
12/11 - 223 - NSV - not eating all the food! Guys I'm in this phase where I want to eat everything!!! I am not, despite being surrounded by Chistmas baking, bit the struggle is really real! This will end soon, these come round ever so often, but I am almost having dreams of pizza, it's hilariously sad. Staying strong to give in reasonably on Thursday date night which cannot come soon enough.
12/12 - 222.3 - NSV - I've decided to commit to walking to and from my subway stop this winter. I usually do walk but would take the bus once the snow came. It's 4,000 steps both ways so this year I'm going to tough it out and get my steps in. Last night we got our first real snowfall of the winter and today I did walk, despite the -10 Celcius temperatures and unplowed sidewalks. It's going to be a long winter but I can do it! Brrrrrrr
12/13 - 221.6 - today is a scale victory day: 30 lbs. down!
12/14 - 221 - late entry cause movie date night where I ate all the sushi then saw Star Wars the sale will likely suck tomorrow but it was completely worth it!
12/15 - 220.6 - considering all the sushi I ate last night I am honestly shocked I didn't gain. Today was my work Christmas party so 3 beers and appetizers makes me think I won't be so lucky. I still made me steps today so this is what I'm celebrating.
12/16 - 221.8 - missed this day baking
12/17 - 222 - post didn't post? Lol or I couldn't find it. Oh well.
12/18 - 221.6 - NSV - kept today consistent with food, overachiever ony steps by 4,000. I'm happy to see that the average 2lb. alcohol bump is smoothing out.
Can't wait for next week's challenge ! I'm debating bringing my scale home with me over the holidays, I know it's probably healthy to take a break from the daily weight ins but it's something I look forward to and I like the feedback. I think I've gotten a little neurotic but I don't think it's completely nuts. Is anyone else bringing your scale home too? Maybe o just need context.4 -

My daily weighing has taken on a new purpose as I enter my 3rd month of working on maintaining my weight under 145...so far so good!!
12/08 - 144.4 - coming in from round 24 with a rolling 7 day average of 143.5lbs

12/10 - 141.8 - I'm starting to figure out my high-low pattern...as long as the average stays the same it's all good. Today is family cookie baking day...I'm not so much worried about the cookies as I am about the Chinese take out we always have because no one wants to make dinner after all that baking...
12/11 - 143.0 - not bad considering how much beer and chinese food I had yesterday...
12/12 - 143.2 - normal little upswing...
12/13 - 142.6 - normal little dip....although my 7day rolling average is down to 143...so maybe it's a downward trend....will keep an eye on it. I don't feel like I'm eating at a deficit but I've been working extra days and I get tonnes of steps and flights of stairs in there so I may be burning more than I think.
12/14 - 143 - had Christmas lunch after working in the showroom with my client's staff today...we'll see what tomorrow brings to the scale...
12/15 - 142.8 - thought it would be up, might be up tomorrow. Going to trust the rest of the neighbourhood has packed down the trails and take the dog for a hike in the bluffs this morning since it's a "bit" warmer than it has been (-8 vs -28 Celsius)
12/16 - 143.4 - TOM arrived yesterday....feeling a bit bloaty. Neighbourhood Christmas party tonight, I'll try to be good but still enjoy some treats.

Deserved, yesterday was bad. TOM is a full week late, definitely NOT pg, guess it's aging. Didn't do great on nutrition today but no added sugar and overall low on calories.

12/12-145 must be that I gained muscle, because I have stuck to diet and exercise...including lifting weights
12/13-145 hanging in there....still doing my 30 day Shred, sticking to my low carb diet and decreasing alcohol.
12/14-145 hopefully I will see a 144 or 143 soon. Patience is a virtue.
12/15-146 oh dear, I did everything right and didn't even have any wine. I did the 30 day Shred later in the afternoon...The only things I did different is drink more diet soda, no alcohol, and woke up at 2 this morning. I am discouraged because I actually felt slimmer this morning...oh well, I will keep on keeping on and have my focus and faith. I will stay determined and end the day knowing I did my best.
12/15 145 at 7:30 am....after yogurt and coffee. I guess I lost a lb in a few hours. I too the first weight at 3:30 am.
12/16 143 YAY! finally!
12/17 144 I am tottering. For dinner I had a Morningstar meal that had a bit more carbs...Japanese Soba Noodles....Too many carbs for me...pretty tasty, but too many carbs...I think that is why I gained...
12/18: 143 okay, I am happy...losing 3 lbs. in 10 days... with around 30 days in a month...with losing 2-3 lbs every 10 days- that is between 6-9 lbs a month. That means if I stick to this, I should be at my goal of 115lbs. in around 3-5 months from now. That is between April and June.....not that is inspiring....!!!

I met my goal weight a few weeks ago. My new goal now is to maintain to stay close to 115 on average. I've also decided that I'm going to allow alcohol in moderation & see how it goes.
