Not sure where to start.... but if you've already tried every diet in the book have you determined why they have failed?
Losing weight is a simple equation of eating at a deficit of calories e.g. eat less than you consume.
Keto is not a magic pill... rather the change in eating changes the way the body is fueled - from glycogen to ketone bodies. The emphasis being on high fat, moderate protein (to spare lean muscle), and low carbohydrate.
The change to eating more fat & protein provides satiety and curbs snacking.
It is more a lifestyle change than a diet.
Like all changes in eating it requires time, effort, learning and commitment.
    Good resources,

Forgot to mention.... I've been keto for 3.5 years and lost 100lbs+
It is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix.

The thing with curbing snacking and providing satiety, it doesnt for everyone. some cant do the high amount of fats that comes with a keto diet. not knocking it at all. someone should give it a try if they think they can stick with it ,as for some it can be really strict. But no matter how a person eats you have to have a caloric deficit or you wont lose weight. if you tried all the diets out there and never lost anything it was because you werent in a deficit of calories(eat less than you burn).

Ditto this. Most diets will work, some will suit your tastes or health better, but they all appear to fail if you stop doing them.

Keto worked really well for me to improve my health and help me lose weight. I know that if I quit I'll go back to poorer health and weight gain. Keto can be used for a quick fix but unless you have an exit plan, or keep doing it, your losses probably won't last. KWIM?

Try the Low Carber Daily or Keto MFP groups if you want more info and support. Good luck!

Keto is great! Staples I always have on hand: avocados, string cheese, coconut oil (mct's), olive oil, butter, salad, bacon, eggs, Crystal Light (if you don't like plain water), spinach, cauliflower (for keto rice and mashed potatoes), Nutritional Yeast (Bragg's), canned tuna, mustard, mayo, spaghetti squash or zucchini (for noodles) and pork rinds/almonds/walnuts (for crunchy snacks.) Good luck!

just make sure you are ready for the lifestyle change and not being a quick fix. you can gain the weight right back after coming off of it.

Agreed. Continuously jumping from diet to diet is probably part of the problem. Personally, any time I went on a structured diet, I failed. I found that focusing on calories, protein and fiber while eating whatever foods I wanted is what helped me lose 50lbs and keep it off for 5 years.

If you do go keto OP, then you really want to make sure you understand the diet, and the requirements around sodium.

I've been keto since august and have lost 46 lbs. The more simple you keep your eating, the easier it is. BUT, the others are right....this is a way of eating that you must commit to...it is not a quick fix. It has helped me get my blood sugar and blood pressure under control so I am committed to it. I hope you will be as well.

How about just eating what you enjoy and doing it in a consistent calorie deficit?

It's just crazy enough to work...
