Advice

Hi guys,

I really want to start using this app again but I was put off about what I heard about it.

Do you find that things you scan or input doesn’t match the actually food?

I want an app that I can just scan or input the food and trust what comes up.

85-90% of the time you will find the foods that you scan and this app is great! Once you scan you can compare the nutrition facts that you find on your item to see if it is correct. Hope that helps!

The entries are added by people and don't get updated automatically. You have to check each item for accuracy, and then weigh it and enter the amount you eat/drink. If you think that is too much hassle, maybe you aren't ready for whatever it is you want to use MFP for.

keep in mind too that as you enter stuff products you use are saves in your recent and frequent lists, so stuff you eat regularly should be easy peasy to put in again. It takes a bit of work up front, but after a couple days your routine foods should be easy to quickly add.
