Hey everyone I just started this weight loss journey that I’ve been meaning to start for awhile but it’s so hard. It’s hard being motivated when all the people around you are constantly eating foods you crave on a regular basis. I also have school and work to balance along with my weight loss journey and I just need some new friends to help motivate me and support me. I also need some friends to give me some advice on how to stay motivated as well as balance my school and work life.

Honestly you just kinda have to MAKE it a part of who you are. Think, long-term changes, not quick fixes.

To this I'd say 2 things:
1-you can eat what you enjoy and still lose weight. You may have to eat less of it. But don't cut out anything entirely. Much more sustainable.
2-don't worry about what other people are eating. They are on a different path than you (or on no path at all), have different goals, training regimens etc...

Make small, sustainable changes and you won't need motivation, you'll have something better. Good habits.

    Good luck to you!

Quit caring what other people are doing and eating. It's your journey and not theirs. Practice saying "no" to things and you'll find you are getting more disciplined, which will carry over into other aspects of your life. Follow the MFP program, and just incorporate it into your daily life.
