Hi everyone,
So quick backstory before you look at the pics. I used to be a lean active kid, teenager to young adult (was an amateur boxer in first pic age 20) then I moved away to a new city where things ended up going downhill for me (bi polar, depression) I ate garbage food and a lot of it at no consistent times, I sat in front of a computer screen for hours upon hours with no physical activity i was very unhappy and isolated myself from the world - truly i felt dead inside with zero motivation or drive to do anything besides eat play on computer gamble and sleep.
Currently I have found myself again, purpose and a reason to get up everyday (early to start my routine & be productive throughout the day) it has been 13 weeks to date since i started working out and eating right. I got a personal trainer and started with 1 session a week only combined with good nutrition - lots of initial pains and uncertainty but I just said this time I am going to see something through, I am not going to quit and I am going to make myself proud. One month into my training i decided to up my sessions from 1x a week to 2x a week (as my energy levels increased, mind and body felt prepared for more punishment!) I joke because it is that very punishment, sweat and soreness that shapes us and makes us feel alive - well me anyhow
so to sum it up in numbers and pictures (as you can see i look pretty sick/deathly in second pic after 16 years of doing damage and treating my body poorly) The third pic I feel 1000x better and although I have plenty of work left to attain my goals I am very proud.
Inches Lost Inches Gained
Waist -5.25 Arms -0.5
Chest -3
Thighs-4.5
Hips -4
Calves-0.75

I am so glad you see that - i have never been so commited to positive change in my mind body and life as i have been these past 13 weeks! I feel i get motovation and drive from all angles. When i struggle it doesnt deter me it motivates. When i crush it i feel great and am motivated to do more. Another thing that helps is i compare myself only to myself and just beat the crap out of myself haha i always win that way0 -
You should be proud! You look great. Very inspiring story.1
