Resolutions for 2018? Find a new job, lose at least 30lbs by the summer, spend more time with friends.2

To lose whatever weight I put on over the holidays.4

I don't really do them...but I have a goal of doing the Tour De Tuscon next Thanksgiving...it's a bucket list thing. I'm also going to do the Desert Eagle time trial series 20K this summer and with a goal to PR...I'll get three shots at it...current PR is 38:02 which isn't terrible considering I don't ride a TT bike or even a true road racer.2

To run at least one race a month throughout the year.2

To pay off a couple credit cards and get down 50 pounds.3

Just continuing the work I've started. I just started a week ago. I need to lose 50lbs to get to my goal weight of 190. My problem isn't so much food but alcohol. I have been alcohol free for 9 days. I have a desk job and also need to be more active. How many w̶i̶s̶h̶e̶s̶ resolutions do we get?3

I'm doing ok on weight for now, and trying to add some muscle so that doesn't really work for a goal. I think the one thing I want to get under control that I've never been able to do is my sodium intake. I'm going to be working on that in 2018 and it's not going to be easy. My diet is generally in the 2700 to 3000 calorie range and unless i cook every single thing from scratch I go way over on the daily limits. But it's a work in progress lol.1

My 2018 resolutions are to get down to a weight that I'm happy with, then focus on becoming more fit. And my weird secret resolution is to wear shorts this summer. I have never liked my legs and haven't worn shorts since I was a kid. I'm starting to become a little more pleased with my legs and hope to get them in shorts shape this year.0

I'm trying to be friendly to others.
when someone is rude or drives like a jerk, it's so easy for me to react unkindly... instead, I want to be different. I want to be nice whether it seems deserved or not.3 -

Goal is to get to my goal weight (not sure of the number yet), and then start recomping and bulk/cut cycles. I'd like to get my waist measurement down 4 inches and keep my hip measurements the same or more (with lots of glute training).0

Stop thinking snarky thoughts when I hear people complaining that they have no control and make excuses for not being able to achieve their goals.2

I don't make New Year Resolutions because I don't stick with them. But I do make goals ... and I make them at any time of year. Am I working on something that I want to accomplish in 2018? You bet! But I refuse to make a resolution about it. I just keep working toward getting there. Maybe I should get off the fence and make a resolution ... but just 1!0

A year of new experiences. The list is small but growing:
1. 15K Trail run
2. Attend Brendon Burchards High Performance Academy
3. Attend first annual Dave Anderson Fishing Classic (my dad passed away this year and this event is in honor of him)
4. Family Mud Run (mud run course designed for families)
5. Hike up Mt. St. Helens with my daughter (I have reached the summit before but looking forward to doing it with her)
6. July - we normally travel around the country for 30 days, not sure what this summer will have in store
In order to accomplish this list (and others that get added), I will be focusing on my attitude and energy. Energy: sleep, nutrition, exercise, etc. Attitude: asking myself each morning, what do I want to get out of today? How do I need to show up? as well as checking in throughout the day on my attitude and energy levels.
Good luck to everyone as they work towards their goals/resolutions!0 -
