What's a snatch waistline? You have a beautiful, strong body.1

Snatch? Really, cherry? Come on. There’s a difference of an adult being relevant vs an adult lacking maturity. Elevate yourself, and I’ll be right there with you reaching fitness goals.8

Snatch has a very different meaning in the US.3

Yes snatch is not a word you use in polite society in US terms but UK who knows?
Actually the last time I heard that word was in a back of a limo with 8 drunk females coming from a bachelorette party.....many years ago0 -
Guys, a snatched waistline means a tight small waist. The term is being used a LOT in the US these days not just the UK. It’s simply not widespread and common yet because it’s mostly being used in the fitness community. She’s not talking about the “naughty” version of the word.7

It became popular with corsets training, they call it waist snatching. It’s also a popular form of surgery to create the “perfect” waist to hip ratio. All of which are pop culture influenced and absurd. However, it’s seems she was using it as slang and not in it’s true context.0 -
Im unaware of anything outside of fitness with that word...so scroll along and dont judge me. Thanks4

^^ This. Also I just heard someone use "wasp" waistline the other day... . never heard that one before but it's a little more instantly obvious than snatch waistline.1 -

The only time I ever hear the term wasp waist being used is in corset training. There is a specific type of corset (conical) that gives your body a very wasp like shape. This is opposed to the more common style of corset that gives you an hourglass shape.
I could totally see people using wasp waist to mean small waist in a general way though.1 -
"Wasp waisted" is a very old term, going back to the 1800s, at least. It hadn't been used much in recent decades, because, until recently, corsets had long been out of style.
"Snatch" is also a slang synonym for female genitalia, also possibly not very current.
When people don't share the same meanings for words, communication doesn't happen.
Edited: missing word6 -
I'm sure there's a lot of dudes who wouldn't mind having Brad Pitt's waistline from Snatch! Hoo-boy.
Good luck everyone in their December and New Years goals!
