What now? Workout, building sexy muscle

July 2016 I was finished being fat. I had my last child and was done. I started with BBG And moved on to weeks 13 through whatever it was. I lost 35 lbs. Then I went to Strong Curves and saw massive gains. And loss...losing an additional 15lbs. After SC was finished I tried to start the program again only to miss the challenge. So I created my own workout. In a little over two weeks I noticed I was losing muscle in my *kitten* and stomach. Oh no no no. We can’t be having that. I need a 4 week or a little longer program that focuses on full body. What’s out there for women? Help...I want my sexy muscles back!

You always help me! Thank you! And the list is mind numbing. I hope to find one I can work with. Thank you!

How are you determining that you're losing muscle? Do you mean your abs are less visible?

You can just see the sag. Yes, abs are much less noticeable.

So perhaps you're putting on fat, not losing muscle?

This could be true but I’m not eating any differently.

What are your stats? What are your ultimate goals? What has been going on with your weight after you lost the 15lbs?

Do you have loose skin from the weight loss? I only lost 22 lbs but I have some loose skin due to pregnancy & being 48.

You definitely want to be on a proven lifting program, not something you made up yourself. Look through that list @sardelsa posted and try another program. I liked Layne Norton's PH3.

I’m 119 5’1”. My ultimate goal is to gain muscle. My weight has been going up or staying the same. I fluctuate between 120-125

Not really loose skin but more wrinkled skin in my stomach. Not sure if it will ever go away but it is what it is. You know!?

Thank you! I decided to start BBG again because I loved that workout. And so far it’s kicking my *kitten*. I’ll get back to weight lifting after that and look through this list!! Which was extensive! Thank you everyone!

That is what loose skin looks like. I don't notice it much when I'm standing up or flexed but if I do a plank and look at my stomach-there it is. The skin around my belly button makes it look a little droopy but only I would notice that.
Pregnancy stretches out our skin to the max. I didn't get any stretch marks at all but I was 42 when I was pregnant. Then, I was 22 lbs heavier than I was pre-pregnancy for a couple of years. I lost the weight, mostly lost fat as I was doing a progressive lifting program and ate enough protein, had a small deficit. I got super lean. I could barely feel any fat on my abs. But, I had loose skin. It feels very thin to pinch. If you are young your skin may bounce back in time. I don't think it will happen for me, though. It could be worse. Only I notice it.
You probably lost a bit more fat and now the volume of the fat and water is gone. Give your skin time to recover. Don't worry about it as there isn't much you can do except a tummy tuck.
Definitely follow a proven lifting program.
