Does anyone have a handle on sodium? I know that it's salt; which is bad in excess. But, my question is if I drink ALOT of water will it balance out an excessive amount of salt????? I'm talking about 12 glasses of water a day.

Drinking water will help. There is also some recent media coverage about balancing your sodium intake almost 1:1 with potassium intake. So, as an example - if you take in 300mg of sodium, try to also take in around 300mg of potassium to offset it. They say that it will help counteract it, especially in the areas of heart health...here is just one of the articles about the balance...
