It's the calorie intake you have to be exact with. That, and patience. You can't lose a discernible amount of weight in five days. At 153 pounds, you're looking at a weekly weight loss of less than 1% of your body weight, and that is on average, and if you're really in a consistent, optimal, calorie deficit.

You don't have a lot of weight to lose by the sounds of it.. it's going to take longer then 5 days to see the scale move.

And you have to be exact with your calories. It's even more so important the smaller you are.

In those 5 days has anything else changed (e.g., exercise)? It seems that you are roughly tracking calories? If so, that could be the issue.

I'd give it more time and be more exact in your calorie counting. It is possible that you are eating more than you think: cheese, nuts and fats like butter pack a large caloric punch with very little volume that some find it easy to overeat in.

You may just need more time too. When I had been eating very low carb for some time, and I dropped my carbs even further, I gained about 10 lbs for over 3 weeks. I felt smaller and felt good, but the scale was up. At the end of the month I had a "whoosh" and suddenly lost close to 15 lbs. Sometimes waiting it out, when you know you are not overeating, does pay off.

    Good luck.

Did the 10 lbs gain happen while you were still dieting?
