Being stressed & trying to stay motivated to be healthy

I’m tired of not reaching my weight goals due to the stress of everyday life OR my own body aches and pains. I feel like I’m never going to get back to my weight before I was married. I want to finally be healthy!!! I’m 5’7 and weigh 186-ughh, have no children. Finding ways to boost my metabolism after the doctors say it’s drastically slowed down due to some medical issues makes it harder and more frustrating.

Don't worry about metabolism or motivation. Instead, direct your energy into finding ways to make consistently eating less, less challenging and more aligned with your everyday life. Because eating less, for real, is the only thing you have to do.2

Awww sorry to hear about your frustrations Sis. I too am trying to lose weight, mainly bc I put my health off for school. Let’s get right together, starting with self love and kind thoughts to ourselves. This journey occurs one day at a time, we can rush it. I’ll add u0
