Sync exercise calories burned from Fitbit to MFP?

Does anyone know how to sync exercise calories burned in Fitbit to our MFP? Seems like my Fitbit is only syncing over calories from steps? If this is not possible, can you r commend how I can accurately sync the calories burned to MFP from exercises I do?

When you sync your Fitbit, MFP reads Fitbit’s total calories burned and makes the calorie adjustment based on that. It can’t distinguish whether those calories were burned through exercise, general activity, or your BMR.0

I have the same issue, I only see steps on mfp. To see calories burned from workout I look at my fitbit app and then manually log the excersise calories into mfp.0

how do you distinquish the calories burned from exercising vs. steps in your fitbit app? i'm seeing just "cals" burned and "44 mins" of activity? I'm still new to the fitbit community LOL..0 -
Most Fitbit models have a button when pressed and held that turns on the activity tracking mode. At the end of the activity, press the button to end that activity tracking mode. The activity tracked during that time period will then display in the Fitbit log.
If you forget to press the button, you can after the fact go to your Fitbit app and create a tracked activity by entering the start time and duration. The data your Fitbit collected during that time period will be displayed then as an activity. The only difference is that your heart rate monitor (if your Fitbit has one) will have only collected data at the default 5 second rate, instead of the 1 second rate when in actual activity tracking mode - the Calorie information will generally be the same either way.
Individual Fitbit activities will not be transferred to MFP; only the calculated total Fitbit Calorie Adjustment from all steps and tracked or untracked activities will be transferred to MFP.
I would recommend reading through the first three posts in this thread on the MFP Fitbit Users group...
