I’m back at it again trying to lose weight. I always struggle losing the weight and keeping it off. I’m 26 now and as I get older, I’ve noticed how the weight is really effecting my health and already existing disabilities.
Friend me up and we can keep each other motivated in the New Year?
Because I sure know I’m going to need some motivation.

pick me, pick me! I'm 29 and same thing...I lost the baby weight from #2...and then gained back almost 10 pounds (never got to pre-baby 1)....my BP is now high, my cholesterol is now high (my LDL DOUBLED since I had it done at 24), so I am hoping if I get my weight from overweight (BMI about 26.8) down to where it was pre-babies (about 23.5) these will correct! I am also constantly starting over and really hoping that these new habits are here to stay!1

Don't start over......just continue. What I mean by this is don't expect perfection, instead work toward progress.
Be consistent, log good days & bad. You will learn from both. We all screw up, shrug it off & continue.
Maintenance - look for small permanent changes. Example - I don't low carb for weight loss, because (for me) that's not what maintenance will be.3 -

LOVE this, and I always say the same thing to people I know IRL and it makes me crazy. I never did protein shakes in the past until....idk...I just started liking having them as a midmorning snack (I don't usually eat breakfast to save more for dinner and putting coffee in my shake helps me have an extra cup of coffee without needing creamer)...so now I use shakes in my weight loss because I could very happily have these a few times a week for forever. I won't give up sweets, or food groups to lose weight for this reason

We are constantly bombarded with "stuff" - we are told we need motivation, that weight management is a struggle, trying to lose weight. Anything to make us think it's so difficult that we need a special diet, or pill, or gadget, or coach.
What you need to lose and maintain weight, is one thing: to consistently eat less. That's difficult enough, because it takes discipline, planning, knowledge, patience, confidence, but it's actually a lot easier when you know that's all it takes, and those skills are possible to aquire, and useful in all aspects in life.0 -
I don't eat less than I did before. I eat much better quality, nutrient dense food. If anything, I typically eat more than I did before.1

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm 24 and desperate to actually shift the weight. I'd happily try to help you on your journey but as posters said before, you're not starting again, you're on a journey xxx0
