I want to daily type my weight. I want to use a program on my laptop computer NOT an app.. I want something that is super duper simple. Shows trends. Has bells and whistles with graphs and charts. FREE.

    mfp is free,
A Withings scale is not free, but it does have bells and whistles and links to mfp updating your weight each time you step on it.
Then, mfp Reports shows trends for free.

    Self-control is also free.

You can try WeightGrapher. It shows trends. You still need an internet connection. Otherwise, why not build yourself what you're looking for in MS Excel? MFP does have a desktop website but I don't like their reports as much since I like sites like WeightGrapher that give you a moving average so you don't see as many peaks and dips in your weight. However I like MFP for looking at charts for nutritional info.

@thecharon You just need to log into the MFP website with the same account that you have on the smartphone app. There you can enter your weight and see history. Use the same account login to be able to see your historical data.

Additionally, if you have a Fitbit account (maybe some others), you can link to trendweight.com for some additional trending analysis - I no longer use Fitbit, but kept my account linked to both Trendweight and to MFP. So when I enter my weight on MFP, it syncs to Fitbit... then Fitbit syncs to Trendweight, and it is there.

Or you can make your own trending formulas and such in Excel.
