Mine was duck breast, mashed potatoes, and oven roasted parsnips with olive oil, honey and sesame seeds.

Not entirely sure, going to a friend's dinner/low-key party gathering.

Making a bean stew (including black-eyed peas) to which I will add greens for tomorrow, though, for good luck, and because I'm in the mood for a bean stew. (Apparently there are a lot more lucky New Year's Day foods available: https://www.bonappetit.com/test-kitchen/ingredients/slideshow/foods-to-bring-good-luck-new-year.)

We generally do Chinese, and then little snacks while we play games. I'm assuming we will do the same. It's only 3:21pm here.

I was going to cook turkey mince chilli tonight. I cook every day but some reason EVERYTHING went wrong in the kitchen. We ended up with a rare occasional take away. But it was nice!

Roasted Lamb shank with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, steamed cauliflower, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. This will be followed later by vast quantities of alcohol and chocolates. New Years Eve and all that. :)>:)

Last big blow out for a while. Will be knuckling down again tomorrow.

Planning on lasagna, French bread and a big salad. (It's just noon here) Have the quantities figured into my MFP numbers even. If I go over a bit in the end, oh well. It's New Year's Eve.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I think 2018 is going to be a good one.

Usually nachos, but I wasn't about to go out and get the cheese for it this morning, let alone now at 4:30. So we'll probably order in or something.

We did a crockpot Indian butter chicken, rice, green beans, and fresh cherries. Later I’ll have a hot chocolate and will finish off with a little whisky to ring in the new year. I can’t wait til the kids are in bed!
