So I’ve decided to kick start myself again and do a 5 day no carb challenge. Eaten way too much over past 2 weeks but haven’t stopped training. Any one else have any no carb tips? Thanks

Is 5 days really gonna do much? You will shed some water weight but what happens after 5 days are over?9

do lower carb not no carb, carbs are essential in brain health its not worth it in the long term5

Why are carbs the enemy?
Do you need to lose weight or are you at a healthy weight?
There is no reason to hate yourself for indulging every once in a while!8 -
Eating Christmas dinner or some treats should not make you hate yourself!
Why not just focus on eating healthfully and calorie-appropriate going forward (not just for 5 days)?
No carb means, basically, meat and oil (butter too, eggs have a small amount of carbs, but maybe not enough to count). If that floats your boat, I guess do it. What strikes me as obviously missing are vegetables, which I think are essentially for any healthy diet.
No carbs (or even very low carb) for 5 days is probably not a great idea, though, as it's going to give you the cut in energy or even the keto flu many get, but you won't be doing it long enough to see how you feel when that is over.7 -
Simply resume normal diet. What are you trying to kick start?
If I went no carb or even too lowish carb I would not be able to keep up with my activities and exercise cause I would not be feeling my best, lack of energy and overall not feel so great.
And stop hating yourself over this, you hating yourself is causing you to think you have to do something extreme to fix it, there is nothing to fix or correct except your way of thinking.6 -
Instead of cutting out carbs (which could potentially lead to another binge), just get back in the groove of eating to suit your goals and use the extra fuel to power your workouts. Maybe do some meal planning, try new healthy recipes, eat more vegetables and drink more water. No need to hate yourself either.5

ive eaten what i want since thanksgiving. ive gained 3 pounds.
whoop -tee-doo.
itll be gone in 3 weeks, if that.
dont live in the past, start fresh, do what you need to do. and crash diets wont do anything other than set you up for failure.6 -
Your setting youself up with another binge!4

How about log everything you eat using a food scale for the rest of your life challenge?3

Yes I wasn't about to bring a food scale to my in laws house. But when you log using a food scale, you get a pretty good idea of how much you are eating. I have also brought fudge and cookies from parties home just to weigh them!1
