Trying really hard not to gain weight after quitting smoking. It's hard. I quit before and gain 20+ pounds then I started smoking again and lost it all without even trying. Just recently quit again and I have already gain 8lbs. I am trying to do more exercise and watch what I eat. Anyone else out there have this problem or something similar. Thanks

I quit smoking in 2012 after a stay in ICU with a blood clot in my heart. I threw the cigs in the trash and haven’t looked back. I had to stop drinking beer because if I have a beer I’ll start smoking again. They go together lol. I wish you the best!1

I quit twice too. Once before starting my family and gained 20lbs. Started back after my kids were born and gained again. Quit for the 3rd time and finally got it right, but over the years, I have gradually put on weight after being forced into menopause because of breast cancer medicine. Drinking is definitely a trigger. I could start back in a heartbeat, but I know better. I still have a smokers cough 20 years after quitting. You can do it!0
