Nutrition vs Exercise

Both are essential for weight loss, however I have a question about calorie intake.
It says i can eat 2250 calories.
So lets say I work out and "lose" 300 calories.
Do i have to maintain 2250? so does that mean I eat 300 more calories to maintain the balance? or do I maintain a zero balance. as in, Do I eat 2250, and try to work out losing the 2250 calories for the day?

Yes. MFP calorie goals are based on What You Burn (metabolism/fitness) and What you Eat to create a final deficit amount to a lot for your weight loss goals. If you add more calories to the "burn" by working out more, you balance it back out by eating those calories to maintain the deficit/gain/maintenance0

Personally, I would only eat back half of what you burned, since there's no 100% accurate way to tell your exact calorie burn. For example, I burned an estimated 700 calories in my exercise yesterday, so I could have eaten back 350 calories of it if I'd gotten hungry. I didn't feel hungry, so I didn't eat any of that "extra". If you just started this, you may have to give it some time to figure out exactly what works for you, but my rule of thumb is "Don't eat if you're not hungry." And if you're hungry, eat, just choose what you eat carefully.2

Pretty much this. For the last week, I have eaten back less than half of the adjustment MFP gave me for my fitbit tracked steps and exercise.0 -
