Can't figure out how to add friends

New & looking for friends. Can't seem to figure out how to add people to my friends list though.

    Via the app or mobile mode it's harder to find but if you go to ones profile you shall find a buddy icon.
    I tried add you using it and seems like it was sending friend invite :)
    However desktop mode on phone (or if you use computer) it's easier to find add friend function.

    I think on the app you click thier name until you see the "add friend" "message screen". Feel free to add me as well!

    Click on their name, then their name again and there will be a little + plus sign person on the right .. click that then follow directions (this is on an iPhone but I assume it’s be the same on any phone)
