So here i am, two days into the new year and needing to shape up! Physically and mentally.
A little about me ... i am 33, obese i have a wonderful loving partner and three beautiful children. I live in Wiltshire which is beautiful. I have fibro and cfs which is very challenging and since being properly diagnosed its taken its toll on me and the weight has crept up and the fitness have gone down!
I hope to meet some lovely people off here and loose some of this junk

welcome! It might help to get a real clear idea for yourself what you want. Usually when people just "want to lose" or "slim down a little" those are nonspecific and are less likely to be attained. Do you want to decrease pain/increase energy? etc. Whatever your "why" is, find a way to remind yourself of that why 20 times a day if you have to. Don't be afraid...deciding to change your life doesnt mean you can never eat a piece of birthday cake again or go out do dinner, etc. It just means consistently making positive choices (and sometimes the right choice is to celebrate with a piece of cake lol).

I also have Fibromyalgia and CFS, plus some. I know personally what a challenge it can be, especially engaging in physical activity knowing you are going to pay for it later. As far as the dieting, this website does so much of the work for you. Putting together your food diary is a little like a puzzle, so it can be fun, too. My favorite form of exercise is jumping on a rebounder/mini trampoline. I have a bar that attaches to it so I can hold on while I jump (I have mobility issues, too). Incidentally, I still have family in England - my Mother and her family were from there. Please feel free to contact me if you would like another friend. Pleased to meet you!0
