My metabolism burns roughly about 1580 cals a day. How much calories should I eat a day and how many calories do I need to burn (treadmill) to lose about 2 pounds a week

How many calories does MFP give you when you put your information in? You will put in your height, staring weight, goal weight and how many pounds per week you want to lose. It will give you a set amount of calories you need to eat in order to achieve your goal. Try starting with that! It's usually pretty accurate.

If you want to lose 2 pounds per week you need to create of deficit of 1000 calories per day. It doesn’t matter if you eat less or work out more. MFP recommends you eat at least 1200 calories per day, however, so you would have to make up the rest of your deficit by working out. Also when you say “metabolism” it isn’t clear if you are talking about your BMR. To figure out how many calories you burn per day, you need to figure out your TDEE. Then calculate your deficit based on your TDEE.

So I would have to burn 800 cals on treadmill?

According to your numbers you've got 380 w/o exercise. You need 1000 to lose 2 lbs/wk. So that 620 you'd need to get from additional activity.

You were given 1200 calories and that is including the deficit you need to lose weight. Even if you don't exercise, you will lose weight eating 1200 calories. What is your maintain weight? 1580? 1200 calories is the lowest MFP will give you no matter what. 2 pounds a week may be a bit aggressive, depending on your current weight. You're meant to eat back exercise calories and still be over 1200.

You could make life easier and just follow the MFP program. Eat 1200 calories plus some or all of what you burn through exercise. Since you are at the default low for calories you will likely lose less than 2 pounds a week.

Just eat the 1200 MFP gives you it already has the deficit built in. If you do some exercise enter it and MFP will add the approximate amount of calories you have burned (It may be a bit overestimated) so you can eat some of them back to keep you around 1200.

But don't go under 1200 as that is not healthy or sustainable.
