I need help sticking with my goals
I'm 27, need to lose 130lbs
I have a gym buddy and the gym is at my work place
The only problem I have is with food
I will start off great but later in the day I will just eat. I feel like a zombie. It's sad. I don't have support at home and hopefully I can find some here.
Really interested in someone to talk to (preferably in the evening when zombie me comes out) and help me out

I'm a night time eater as well.
I don't have breakfast until 1-2pm, then I have loads of calories left for the evening.1 -
Maybe I'll try that, I'm not hungry early in the morning I get hungry around 10. But I see what your saying maybe I have something light but will prevent me from being hangry0

The good news is that you are not a zombie and with a lot of patience and a little self-discipline you can lose the weight.
I also like to eat more in the evenings. I prelog my dinner (and lately my whole day) just to make sure I have the calories I need in the evening to feel satisfied.1 -
I find that pre-logging helps with mindless eating. It makes it mindful. So, knowing that I like a late-night snack, I'll log in 2 cups of popcorn or a piece of string cheese or 30 grams of dried cereal. Sometimes, just seeing it already in the tracker and seeing that it's not taking me over my calories is all I need. Then I can take my snack, less all of the guilt about "eating again????" Because I KNOW it's not derailing anything.1

Hi there, I used to eat nothing most days...at most I'd have lunch about 2/3pm & then completely go crazy come the evening. My whole life I always said "I can never have breakfast, it turns my stomach." I did this for most of my adult life up until 5 months ago.
What worked for me was having a coffee & a probiotic yogurt drink first thing, doing my workout at 6/7am & then BAM - hunger. I began eating breakfast. Weetabix kept me going until lunch but once I'd got into the routine, I could have whatever I wanted for breakfast & "last".
In the evening I have my dinner & a yogurt for after (sometimes we have a cheeky pudding), I don't eat anything after that, but naturally. I never consciously decide not to have food past dinnertime.
I used to get SO hangry in the beginning but after a week, my body had adjusted.
Know that my routine isn't for everyone as I work from home 4 days a week with the 3 other days my shift ends at about 9am.
If I was to give any advice, I'd say maybe try different eating times though know your bod may need a few days to get used to it. Hope you find something that works for you - it's definitely out there! Best luck1 -
Thanks I will definitely try the tips that you all provided. Especially the pre logs!! Thanks everyone!1
