I am trying to figure out how to weigh Tyson Naturals grilled nuggets, which the package says is 110 calories for 3oz of chicken. I cooked the chicken, then weighed it because I wasn't sure if I could weigh it straight out of the package, frozen. thoughts?

I use pre-cooked weights for most everything.

Yes, most frozen foods should be weighed frozen for the best accuracy. You might end up eating more than you think if you weigh it cooked since foods do lose some weight in the oven. What's 3 oz cooked may be 4 oz frozen, which results in unaccounted for calories.

so, on the package, the 3oz for 110 calories, is weighing it frozen straight from bag? shoot!!

It's tricky because frozen has more water/ice, which evaporates when cooked. The differences in 3 oz is pretty negligible, I'd say. Maybe look for a "cooked" entry in MFP database.
