It feels so good to be committed to a reduced calorie eating plan now. A Christmas photo of me shocked me into reality! I now plan to use it as my 'before' picture a year from now :) My biggest challenge is getting through the afternoon at work without snacking. I keep telling myself that when I feel my stomach growling it's just my body burning fat. Don't know if it's true, but it helps. Best of luck to all!

I work 9 hours days so I used to snack a lot too. I always felt like 3pm came and I was starving. So I started planning a snack for 3 specifically. I always try to keep is small do it’s not full of calories but big enough to satisfy me till dinner. Try fruit or some almonds. Also something that helped me a lot was removing all the snacks from my desk top and drawers. I keep my snack on my lunch box in till it’s time to eat it.

Thank you all for your inspiring suggestions! I'll take them to heart. I know for me the toughest days are in the beginning. It's nearly 11 am, and I've only thought about lunch a couple times, so things are improving!!
