This past year I've gained 40 pounds, and really hate looking at the fat and stretchmarks. I'm ready to lose and get back to my old self!

Excellent! Now to add friends, find a few groups, and lose away!
Just don’t starve yourself. It ain’t fun nor sustainable.2 -

I had lost 85. I put back on 80. Now I'm back again. I'm at 58 down again. 85 and beyond is on the horizon. You did it once, you can do it again!!6

I lost 80 lbs and. It took 5 years and I gained it all back. I told myself when I was at my lightest that I will never be back at the heavy weight and here I am! I did it once I can do it again . . I hope!1

Think long-term. Start forming habits now you can keep forever.
My best tip is to eat what satisfies you within your calorie limit.
Deprivation diets don't work, and lead to crashing and burning. Slow and steady for the win.
If you allow yourself things you love, you can stick with the plan as long as it might take, and even longer.
You don't have to punish yourself to lose weight. You're not going to learn sustainable habits by starving yourself.1 -
i am also doing it again. add me if you want to0

Lost 20kg 3 years ago, maintained for a couple of years, then put 10kg back on due to stress last year.
Looking to be below 80kg by the end of the year.0
