10lbs here...bit of a shock when I stepped on the scale this morning BUT it's motivated me. Get them off in 2 weeks then back on track!

3 pounds over november and december (didnt count a bit or worry about anything).
no biggie.1 -
I've continued losing, so very proud of myself11
-
I had lost 1lb when I weighed myself on Christmas Day, but I knew it was due to not eating much & running around the shops...weighed myself this morning & I've put 3lbs on, back to my regular running this week2
-
Maintained. Didn't go mental with the christmas treats really. The bugger is that I wanted to put on some weight as I have some strength gains I want to make during January. Must try harder2
-
2 lbs down - Woo and boy did I eat4
-
didn't quite gain 3 lbs from thanksgiving to new years. hopefully will have it fixed this month!1
-
I gained 5lbs over my normal weight, so not bad. After all the Christmas treats I was ready to start eating lighter again before I even stepped on the scale... Maybe next year I'll incorporate some healthier treats to indulge in, lol.3

I gained 8lbs over the holidays, but I also weighed myself after a night of drinking and lack of sleep. So maybe more like 5-6lbs.4

A little tough to tell for me but I think I made out alright. Averaging daily weight 12/17-12/23 had me at 175.3lbs and averaging 176.3 since 12/28
Had to travel to see family so I was without my scale and menu selection was at least 75% out of my control 12/23-12/27, which was frustrating. The hotel where we stayed at least had a decent breakfast so a few of the days I could make sure I got some protein to start things off; no weights in the closet they called a workout room though. Alas, other family stayed there as well and that saved us from getting our own rental car. Logging was also difficult not being the one preparing the food. Did what I could to make sure I was getting adequate protein but that was harder than it should've been.5 -
I was surprised and happy to look back and see that even though I had multiple parties over this holiday season, looking back from Thanksgiving through New Years I'm actually down 5.8 pounds. All it took was continual logging and I tried very hard to be completely honest every day. Plus keeping up with my exercise routine really did help. I thought at the beginning of the holiday season I'd end up a little over, and really just hoped to stay even, but saying no to those extra sweets and drinks really did pay off. Feels good to start off 2018 on a good note!2

Up since Christmas but down since Thanksgiving, so it's kind of a wash.2

About 7 lbs. Surprisingly a little less than normal. I was expecting more.1
-
Six pounds. I’m not weighing again til next Monday. It’ll come off.1
-
I'm up but I'm sure half of it is water from all that salty Chex mix2

I haven't weighed myself in a while but I know I put on a bit of weight. I'm doing dry January and really zeroing in on my eating though, so I'm hopeful by the end of January I'll be back on the right track!

None. I ate well but didn't go mad. I had a fab Christmas2
-
I'm currently in maintenance mode and while the scale bounced around a lot.. my Friday weigh-ins were always within my maintenance. So I'm happy2
-
Ugh, 2.5kg (5.5 lbs) and up 3% body fat. So bad. Back into it now and excited to see how much I can accomplish in my first week!0
-
None gained and I ate and drank like a wild woman!2
-
About 2 pounds up in November and December. Usually gain 20 pounds over the winter, so 2 pounds in 2 out of 5 winter months is a win!2
-
It is definitely good to know I am not the only one who has gained lol but I have been at it for long enough now to know that it's simply bloat (read..'good time weight') and will be gone in a couple of weigh-ins anyway. Definitely had a great time this festive period and it has shown but onwards and upwards (or downwards on the scale haha)
Let's all kick *kitten* in 20182 -
I'm bulking so.. none1
-
Down 3 pounds. Told myself to listen to my body when I start to get full instead of overindulge which I normally do during the holidays. Guess it worked!2
-
Managed to drop 5lb of them already, glad it was just bloat really!!0

Had allowed myself maintenance calories over the 10 days, from Christmas Eve. But chose carefully and made every calorie count. Wanted to enjoy my meals and I did, but didn't want to waste calories. Also found how much my taste buds have changed, and old favourites I no longer liked. Having extra calories to play with, seemed to help psychologically, didn't feel deprived. That said, I'm down 5.5lb in 2 weeks. So win win for me.1

What was the damage? That every time I hit a new low, I bounced back up.
All told, from Thanksgiving to the new year I gained 1.5 pounds, but that's effectively nothing. I can gain/lose that much at the drop of a hat. This morning I lost 3 pounds from yesterday. I'm back on track now. I want to hit my next goal before the 1 year anniversary of my MFP journey.0 -
10lbs. Already down 4.1
-
7.2lb up in December. One day back logging and I've lost 2.5lb. We will see what the real impact of eating above maintenance calories was once the water weight clears.
I totally agree with others posting here though - I enjoyed every minute of indulgence, meals with family, nights at the pub with friends. Wouldn't change a thing!1 -
7lbs but only 0.4% fat so not going to lose sleep over it! I had a great Christmas....now time for this January shred0
-
None...I've put on my usual 8ish Lbs that I do every winter, but most of that was before the holidays.0
