I am in the same boat! I currently weigh 177, wanting to get to 145-150! I am also 5'4". What is everyone's macros set at? MFP is saying I need to eat 1200 cals a day, with 50% (150g) Carbs, 30% (40g) Fat, 20% (60g) Protein. I don't feel I should eat that many carbs and need to eat more protein, thoughts?

Add me to the list as well. I'm at 171.5 and would love to be 140-ish or less. I agree that I think I need less carbs and more proteins. I also stay fuller longer if I include good fats (avocado, EVOO, ghee, coconut oil, etc) I just created my account today and feel like the macros need to be tweaked but not sure what makes sense. Guess I'm off to google.

Hi, I’m 168 and want to weigh about 130. I started at 199 so I’m about halfway there. Could really use the help and motivation to keep going. I’m 23 years old and 5’3

You can adjust your macros so you have more protein and lower carbs if you like. might help you to feel full and maintain lean muscle. Good luck!

I want to lose 40 pounds!
I've been using MFP off and on for a couple years, but this week is the first week I've really stuck to my allotted daily calories. I've cut out beer this week (I'm a huge craft beer fan) and I'm getting better sleep. 3 pounds lost so far this week! I'm sure the progress will slow a bit in the coming weeks, but my goal is to lose at least 40 pounds. I'm 5'3", so a healthy BMI would a little less than 150, but I think it's a good goal to start with. Add me if you'd like :)
