What's the best tasting meal replacement protein powder. I used to get Ballys but they don't make it anymore. Can't stand the chalky stuff.

I really like Evolve, because it is plant-based.

    Just for some context...

A meal replacement shake should generally be more than just protein. Meals have a range of macro and micro nutrients, so a shake that is intended to replace a meal should do the same. A protein shake should be primarily protein, and viewed as a dietary supplement much like you would view a vitamin.

For protein powder, Trutein is some of the best tasting stuff I've used. Core Power pre-made drinks (not a powder) are pretty good. I don't have much experience actual meal replacements other than some slim fast shakes several years back.

For meal replacement I really like the TLS shakes (this one is an MLM one, however). Besides that I like this dark cocoa organic one I used to get at Wegmans in the natural section. It tasted like heaven lol. For pure protein my husbands favorite is muscle milk and I like the Elevation powder that Aldi makes. I don't find any of the above to be chalky. Back in the day I used to drink shakeology but holy crap its wicked expensive. Some friends recommended I try Vega One as an alternative and it was SUPER chalky.

Thanks for the suggestions-would be nice if I could get some samples before purchasing a large quantity.

What's best, depends on what you like and why you want to replace meals.
