Each morning let's post being binge free from the day before (thinking positive! We can do this!). Also, post the challenges that you faced and how you were able to push through the temptation. Any ideas for dealing with bingeing would be great too. We can all use the help and ideas from each other.
Let the challenge begin!

Im in! All last week I started to lose control! I work in a kitchen... I can eat what I want... Lots of fresh cheesecake, chicken fingers, St.Louis ribs! I HAVE to eat garlic bread with extra garlic and franks red hot... Which really isnt that bad for me.. But it is never enough hahaha Thats just some of the lounge menu! The dining room menu is fairly healthy!
My goals are eat the healthy menu... (tenderloin, salmon, halibut etc) Only have my new york cheese cake or any other fatty food off the lounge menu once a week! (I eat my dinners there since I work from 3pm-11pm0 -
This is a great idea! It's so hard sometimes when temptation is staring you in the face... I've had a couple days now where I just gave in and now I feel kind of disgusting. So, awesome challenge, we can do this!!! Here's to day one!! :drinker:0

I like this ALOT!!! I love a challenge!!! So I'm going to challenge myself!!! I don't necessarily binge, I just snack when I shouldn't be snacking!!! So I will not snack for 21 days!!! Unless it's time for my meal, since I eat every 3 hours!! Did you know that it takes 21 days to form a habit & 3 days to break one?!!! Well...all i know is that I want to get back on track & stop snacking!!!! So... 21 days.. BRING IT ON!!!0

That can't be easy! It is nice that you have some healthy options though!0 -

It is pretty easy actually! hahaha Sometimes you are too busy to think about food even though you are working with it all the time! The only time I find it hard is when im not busy! Idle hands are the devils playground! hahahaha But a plus side at work, I ALWAYS drink 3litres while there! I die without my water!0 -

I'm in! This is a great idea. The weekends for me are so hard. During the week, I work. But on the weekends, I'm alone...and I eat. And eat. And eat. Then hate myself for it!
Day one...I'm in...so far so good!! Wahoo!0 -

My hardest time too! I was trying to think of things I could do that would help. I thought of having a to-do list for after dinner and the kitchen is shut down. Things like: try on my wishful skinny jeans, look at photos of me when I was smaller, read motivational stories on MFP, measure my waist! It couldn't hurt, right? Writing down how I feel when I am faced with a food battle and win! Versus the thoughts of guilt and shame when I lose.0 -
So I was really tempted last night but instead I did 45 minutes of cardiio and made it through day 10

Sweet! Good for you! :smokin:
I almost went for my Quaker Oh's cerial last night.... I refraned myself, thank God!! :drinker: Those dang things get me every time!!:grumble:0 -
Day 1 - Successful!
Just shut down the kitchen after dinner and got busy doing other things. Was tempted later, but realized I was just tired and needed to go to bed. Felt so good this morning to not have guilt or unkind thoughts about myself. I am more than food!
We are one day closer!0 -

You overcame temptation! You should be proud!0 -
Great Job everyone for overcoming the temptations. The workout did feel great. Normally I only do 30 minutes of cardio but decided it was time to bump it up for more of a challenge. It sure does feel great and I have a great glow today. Keep up the great work everyone. Let's make this 2 day's in a row. :bigsmile:0

I did not over come temptation last night at work! There was FRESH chocolate paradise made!! I couldnt resist!! I had one!! While working in the lounge station I would grab a fry here and there, and had an onion ring! I DID however resist making myself garlic bread with franks red hot! That one was hard!!
For dinner however I had salmon, spinach, red peppers, broccoli with about 4 small potatoes. Dinner was healthy! Just that chocolate paradise!
When I got home I did 15mins more on my stationary bike and 25 more sit-ups. Today I will try to avoid the desserts or at least make room for them! haha Yesterday and today are the slow days at work so I stand around the food bored! haha0 -

Even though you had the chocolate, it doesn't sound like you binged so you should still feel proud!0 -
ditto... you did good! as long as you didn't have like 4 servings that is.........0

Day two down..... No binging. :drinker:
How's everyone else doing?? 19 days to go.... WE CAN DO THIS!!!
So, you know how my Quaker Oh's get me like EVERY night? Instead of having the 2-3 bowls I would normally have, I had 1/2 cup for dessert.... didn't go over, and stopped before it got out of hand.... Just thought I'd share... I'm proud of myself! :blushing:0 -
Awesome job pipinana! Great job controlling yourself. I also have 2 days down down binge free. Today will be a real challenge as we are having a big potluck at work.0

BE STRONG girl! You can do it!!!
Tomorrow will be my hard day.... It's my bday and anniversary. My husband is out of town, so some friends invited me over for dinner. Fried Seafood Dinner...... What am I going to do????!!!!! It's my favorate meal, so I know that's why they are making it for me.... And I'm very grateful (I'd be sitting by myself at home if it wern't for them (HIS family lives 20 minutes away, and "live too far away"--MY family lives in Alaska.....))!
I'm just afraid I won't be able to controle myself......... BUT, I do go over there very often for supper(hubby's a truck driver.... gone a lot), so they are used with me adding everything in my journal before I eat! :indifferent: I just gotta be strong.......... :sad:0 -

Tks for the tips. Last night, I went to bed earlier after warm shower. Good night sleep. So, had no chance for late night snacking!! :happy:0 -
Aww thanks! What do you consider a binge?
Yesterday no binge for me! I didnt even have a dessert! For dinner I had tenderloin, blanched broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, carrots, with 5 small potatoes. It was very yummy! I didnt even steal a fry! hahaha0
