End of First Day

I signed up for this site back in February when I was taking a college PE class. I got off track quite a bit and now I'm back. I've decided that it's time I start being proactive about my weight and health. I'm 24 years old and I had always been slightly over weight as a child. When I was a teenager I started working out once a day and eating healthy by cutting out juice and excess sugar and I lost 50lbs in about 7 months. I looked really good and healthy. When I started dating after losing the weight, my boyfriend ate out constantly and never got out of bed so my habits became somewhat the same. After a year of being lazy and eating out, I had only put on about 10 lbs. Now it's been 5 years and I have put back on the 50lbs plus some. It's been really depressing being over weight these last few years. I've stopped leaving the house or hanging out with friends because I am so unhappy and self conscious about what I look like. Sitting in the house all day only makes my problem worse. I've lost the weight before so I plan to do it again except this time, I want to keep it off.
I think the reason I was so successful before is because my two best friends were also overweight in high school and we had lost the weight together. Now they are both still thin and I am not. I feel like I don't have that support system any more. I need people to motivate me or share with me what they are doing so I can do the same. I hope I can find that support here with those who are in the same boat as me.

Hi, i signed up a few months ago and havent done anything about it,i have started again yesterday and managed to complete y 1st day successfully, i have almost 40lbs to lose so if u would like to try together and provide support for each other that would be great, my husband is very thin so i dont have anyone to sympathise with me as i dont have a lot of friends.

Im Emma im 27 yrs old mum of 1. Like you I was overweight all through school but unlike you I never did anyhting about it. I joined in jan and have lost 30 ish lbs but my journey has been full of ups and downs. I have a long way to go ( 100lbs) . Add me if you want and together we can help each other reach our goals. x0
