I recently got a new job I thought I would have started by now, it turns out it probably doesn't even start until the beginning of NEXT week and that's when my car payment is due... HELP?!

    you could sell plasma, it wont get you $150 but it will get you about $40, you could also pawn something until payday..

    Craigslist. You might also consider calling up your loan company and explaining the situation to them. They might give you a little grace. Never hurts to ask

    Call the car loan company and ask for an extension on your payment date... they'll work with you if they have a good record with you... some will even let you skip a payment.

    agreed with clintswife, call up the people who you ahve your loan with, tell them your situation, they will allow you to defer a payment.

    I actually laughed at this but I say call the loan company and be honest with them. They will work with you I am sure.

    Shaved legs don't matter... those guys would hump a horny wildebeest for the right price. You probably had too many teeth. That, on the other hand, could pose some "issues."

    Try Cash Converters for pawning your stuff temporarily. They will usually hold onto it for you for up to a month or more if you ask them to so that you can just go in and pay it off to get it back. Or if you are really desperate the also do payday advance loans but be warned the interest can be killer!

    I have been in the same situation after moving, and just called them up to defer the payment. They were pretty good about it. If it's with Esanda (I seem to remember that you are in Oz?), just know that they you will probably owe a little more in interest at the end of your loan though.... they can be buggers.

    Edit - for those suggesting selling plasma/blood... These donations are by volunteer only in Australia, and aren't paid. This is because without the lure of money, it deters some of the 'yuckier' types who might be in at a donation site every other week for quick cash 'ifyaknowwhatimean'. Good idea though!

    have a garage sale but Dont resort to those payday loan places. if that doesnt work call the lienholder. dont panic cause thats when people make stupid financial decisions. payday loan places are horrible IMHO
