Best thing about the new year

I am not into New Year promises but that does not mean I don't face the New Year with optimism. What sort of things are you looking towards in 2018.

Opening the door to new possibilities, adventures, friendships, health and overall happiness.
Also closing the door to the negativity that stresses me out, makes me feel bad, makes others feel bad. Closing the door on toxic relationships (family, friends, professional.)
Work to fix the fixable flaws, but accept that some things just fall under "it is what it is."
I don't want to really think of these things as changes I'd like to make just because it's a new year, but changes I need to make overall.1 -

I look forward to the chance to make a difference this year in health and work. Nonset plans just a determination to be the best I can be on a good day and not too bad on a bad day1

Mostly I'm looking forward to this year being a much better year mental health wise because I've worked really hard at fixing those things recently.
Please show me pics when you go there!! Things I'd love to do!!0 -
I am always optimistic too, year round.
New Years stresses me a bit because I don't like leaving stuff behind, I dwell and cling on in case nothing is ever better, (I had "prophetic" seeming night terrors or anxiety attacks as a kid about this and it's always on my mind) altho I am always up for new experiences.
The future is scary for me...I've never been able to picture myself in it and always thought that means I'd die young.
I'm looking forward to as many pain free, able bodied days as I can have. Hopefully finding a "passion", I've been wanting one for as long as I can remember. Hopefully finding peace and contentment.0 -
Realistic: for my hair, to regrow enough; to be chin length!
Unrealistic: for me, not to be single!1 -
I am with you there W8warl after a hair cut this week that turned out shorter than expected!
