I’m looking for more friends from canada so we can joke about the polar vortex we have right now. Part of me thinks I should pack up and move south though.

    I am from the Manitoba freezer too. One of my favorite this to do is giggle about comments I hear from people who don't really understand what our winters are like.

    We went to Los Angeles a few years back at the end of Jan. We went to Disneyland for the fireworks and one of the locals started talking to us. He was really cold and had mini gloves and a knitted head band on. We were wearing sandals!

    Haha I split my time between Vancouver Island and Prince George for work. So I get the nice winter half the time and freeze the other half lol

    Ya it's a bit chilly. Nothing a good jacket, hat and mitts can't handle :p Only two more months-ish, then we get the + weather again.

    Spring came and went in Toronto in 1 day back to freezing my butt off. Think treadmill today as sidewalks are icy.
