I am a long time user of nike + and it does work pretty well. I have a old crappy 3rd gen ipod nano which is on its way out. The past 8 months I have been looking for replacements. I have used alot of different android apps on the android market.

I want some feedback as too what YOU like the best and why! The apps I have tried so far are:

Cardio Trainer
Tends to work ok some things i dont really care for. Doesnt seem to have stats to keep me motivated enough to be excited to keep using it. Has alot of options and settings

Runkeeper
This app I love it may well be my favorite biggest drawback I have seen is no internal music player (easy enough to start my internal music player and switch back though can be annoying) and there were some major gps problems a few months ago since then its been pretty solid. Great stats good way to keep me motivated lets me know how im progressing alot like nike plus does

Adidas micoach
This is another solid app I really do like how it keeps pushing you to hit your target zone though it can be annoying. I have had a bit of trouble with how slow the gps updates on it. I feel it has the potential to be a great app just something is holding it back. I dont care for the layout of the website at all but the android part of the app is great other than the laggy gps

Mytracks
Tried it several times hate it, just not what im looking for i guess

runstar
tried once for about a mile didnt care for it. Didnt seem to have very many features at all. To be fair I probably havent used it enough to know though.

Endomondo
I tried the free version but had problems with even finding a gps signal on a clear sunny day in a open field. Only tried that one day never tried it again

Am I missing any out there that you guys enjoy?

I really like Nike + but I really dont want to keep buying the sensors and buy another ipod in the future when my evo can do it. The nike + website needs some work too, after 4 years it still cant remember my username or password everytime I log on also it tends to loose some workouts into a mysterious limbo which you cant get back. It posts on facebook when it feels like it not when you tell it too.

I've been running Endomondo on my 1st gen Motorola Droid. I really like it. I've had a few problems with locking onto gps signals, but I believe thats the Droid, not the App. I do a battery pull, and all the sudden it picks up the satellites great.

Sportypal. Love it, you play your own music but on every mile or km she interrupts the music to tell you your average speed and there's lots of other stats too. Calories are way off, I use an hrm.

I like the layout, I know its a girl thing to say but it looks pretty lol. When I started using it a lot of apps on android did not look so nice on my phone and this app caught my eye. It's got the features I need, and I like the online tools, love the fact I can log a run/walk even if I haven't taken my phone out with me! I like the updates on my workout, not to intrusive, but lets you know your pace/distance.
It doesn't have a built in music player, but does have a button that links to my standard Android/HTC music player on the main workout screen and in the menu so that's pretty easy to use. I have problems getting a GPS lock initially sometimes, but I have heard that the HTC desire S GPS chip is weak. It's also poor when trying to get a lock for navigation. I used Sportypal Pro on my original desire and the GPS was fantastic, could even get a lock indoors before I started! If you wanted you can purchase a heartrate monitor chest strap and that will connect via the app too, I won't be doing that as I am too poor lol, and they cost over £70 from polar.

i just tested out my sporty pro today and found it better than my cardio which was what i used before, the mysporty pro website is really useful as well, breaks down your run and theres also a community on there of other peoples running logs which is great motivation
