Chocolate almond cherry smoothie

2 Cups non dairy or organic milk ( I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
3 Tablespoons almond butter
1 1/2 cups frozen cherries
1 banana
1 Cup spinach
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (I used vanilla)
stevia or agave nectar to tast
1 Cup ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Poor and Enjoy.

Makes 4 servings
188 Calories (depending on ingredients..milk, amount of sweetener..)
10 g fat
1g sat fat
0 mg chol
74 mg sodium
22 g carb
4g fiber
7g protein

* I had extra since I only made one smoothie, and I am freezing it in popsicle molds!

    I have a recipe for blackberry basil smoothie! I am going to be trying it this week, I will post it after I try it, if it's good :laugh:

    And def. get almond butter. I love love love it!!! In case you've never had it, you can eat it on anything! Apples, wasa crackers, toast, waffles, brownies (low fat of course :grumble: :laugh: ) and, even straight out of the jar :glasses:
