Bathroom Scales

Has anyone got a recommendation for a "smart" bathroom scale? I read that Weight Guru's scale syncs with MFP but wondering how well it really works.
Thanks
Thanks

By “smart” do you mean scales that measure body fat or ones that sync with your electronic toys?
I’ve heard bad things about the former; good things about the latter.

I just bought a wireless Smart Scale, it sincs with your cell phone. It can also be used without a phone. I looked on this sight and saw what they offered, then I went to Amazon and bought one. It is a Withings brand, which is a Nokia company, so I felt good about my purchase - $39.99. Here is the link: Scale0 -
Wow, 39.99 sounds like a good deal. I paid that for my unsmart scale LOL1

I've been using a Weight Guru's scale for a year now (bought mine last year on January 3rd), and it syncs perfectly. I have it synced to Fitbit right now, but the new weight still makes it to MFP just fine when I weigh in. MFP is one of the options in the app to choose from though. It's been a great scale, no issues, and their customer service is amazing if you have issues setting it up or with the scale itself. I got the $50 scale off Amazon.

I have a nokia body wifi scale, which I like a lot. I didn't opt for the body+ because home scale bf% measurement is so inaccurate, that it's not really worth it to me. trendweight.com and happyscale both sync with it (as well as mfp, obviously), which I mostly use to track weight trends.
I will say, though, that the nokia software is awful. Fortunately, you really only need to use it for the initial setup.0 -
Been using the Fitbit Aria for a coupe of years now. Works fine and sits nicely in a Fitbit and MFP world. Gives weight and body fat and syncs wirelessly to your Fitbit dashboard. Saves pencils and spreadsheets.0

I have had a Fitbit Aria for about two years. It has worked flawlessly with MFP and Trendweight. I had to change the batteries once, and I think they were AA instead of those hard to find watch batteries.0

I got a Yunmai SE scale as a gift. Still forming opinion of it. The scale syncs to your phone. With iPhone it will automatically download weight measurement to Apple Health. From there you can set it up w/ MFP. When you set up your profile and input height, the app calculates your BMI and can track that. The scale is very sleek and modern and the display appears under the glass then disappears. But, the scale is tiny - feet hang off the edges, so definitely not a scale for someone who has balance issues while standing on a small platform. Amazon is selling it for $29.950

Thanks all for the input. I opted to give the Weight Guru a try. Will let you know how it works out.0

Just throwing in another vote for the Fitbit Aria, even though you went for the Weight Guru. Aria is a great purchase if anyone else is looking for a new scale.1

I opted for Withings because it's directly compatible with many apps and gadgets, but it's expensive. I like the convenience of a direct connection, but many much cheaper smart scales can be connected indirectly through certain apps if you don't mind jumping through those hoops (not as annoying as I make it sound, I'm just lazy).
Edit: oops didn't notice

Very good experience with my Withings Wireless. I was an early adopter but I don't recall if it was 6 or 8 years ago. It posts directly to my MFP and, as important, trendweight.com - I love that site. I also installed an AC adaptor instead of relying on batteries. There are probably cheaper options these days.0
