    Indeed some people do.

What kind of fast? There are many different forms. What are you trying to accomplish?

Nope. Makes me cranky and tired when I don’t have fuel to get me through the day.

See Intermittent Fasting, OMAD, and 5:2 forums. I do a 20:4 to lose (eating ad libitum in the evenings - tell full and then some grazing) and I do a 16:8 to maintain (about a 600-kcal lunch [salad], and eating ad libitum in the evenings).

I do a 16:8 fast and keto, they work good together for me.

Do you mean 16:8? 5:2? A juice fast? A commercial fast where you only eat certain things? A traditional fast where you don't eat anything for 24 hrs or more?

I do intermittent fasting. I eat from 12pm-8pm every day. Basically after 13 hours your body starts to feed off of your fat so if you fast for 16 hours, your body is burning fat for 3 hours straight. It’s stopped me from snacking as much and it’s not that hard to do. Right when I’m getting really hungry, it’s time to eat

Fasting is an eating plan, not a diet. You still have to cut calories to lose weight. However, there are a lot of non-weight loss benefits to intermittent fasting. (Search YouTube “Benefits of Intermittent Fasting.” For me personally I use a 18:6 plan. It has stopped my cravings and snacking. It has helped with my insulin resistance.
