Anyone want to get a 50 and older thread going? Share the woes of weight loss after 50? Or the thrills of weight loss success after 50?

Anyone? I can’t be the only 50 yr old who feels like she’s 30!

I’ll join in. I’ll be 66 on February 9th. I think I’m in decent shape for my age or any age for that matter. I did gain 10 pounds over the holiday because I love to bake cookies and sample the results. I’ve lost 5 of the 10 I gained but I really only got back on the healthy eating a exercise wagon last Monday. I’m short, 5 feet tall and my current weight is 125. My goal this year is to lose some weight and to get stronger. I do a variety of cardio workouts, I have a water rower and an elliptical. I also do step aerobics. All at home. I have a set of dumbbells up to 30 pounds and resistance bands. I like to vary my workouts and listen to audiobooks when I workout. What about you? What’s your story and what sort of help do you need on your fitness quest?

You're only as old as your arm candy looks.

    I still have a year until I am 50. Don't rush me, m'am.

I put your user name on a Seniors Thread on another page of MFP. Chit Chat is not the place to look for other seniors on MFP. IMHO

I’ll be 70 next month, and have been getting healthier since I turned 65.

FYI There is another MFP Group Thread for Over 45 you may want to search for them too.
