So I’ve had mfp for a few weeks and have been tracking here and there, which is probably why I haven’t lost much, if anything.
I’m 21 and my weight this morning was 242. I’m wanting to lose 90 pounds.
Anyone else here with a lot of weight to lose? And any advice would be very appreciated!

You can do this! One day at a time! I’ve been using this app for a week and I’ve lost 3 lbs so far. Tracking my calories has actually been fun! My goal is to lose 60 lbs in one year. With time and perseverance I know we can do this!1

So far I have lost 85 pounds need to lose 100 more! It’s not easy especially when you are my age of 65! But I will do it! I changed my eating habits, eating more fruits and vegetables, drinking more water and exercising! I tried those so called diets but all comes down to eating healthy! Gods my motivation! You can do it too! Never never give up!2

Tracking “ Here and there” is not going to cut it I am afraid.
IT’S CONSISTENCY AND COMMITMENT!
That means weighing and measuring everything you eat and drink. EVERY DAY!
Day in. Day out!
Stay under your daily caloric allowance.
That’s all you have to do for now.
Making too many changes at once will only overload you.
Start with logging accurately.
Eat what you usually eat. Than, as you go along make small changes.
It is important to increase water intake to keep you hydrated and help curb cravings.
All you have you to do for now is just start.

Hi there! At my highest I was about 250lbs and made it down to 160lbs. After my son was born 2yrs ago I’m still at 180lbs and trying to get back down to at/below my pre-pregnancy weight! Ideally I would like to attempt 135/140lbs but I liie food and living life sobwe will see where that leads me.
