I'm just curious for those who have a Fit Bit, have you ever tried/liked logging your calories on there rather then on here? I've been on mfp since 2012. When I first bought my Fit Bit I seen that you can also log your food/water on there but I just stuck with mfp. Just curious about other people thoughts on the fit bits calorie counter and maybe even the community there.

Ideally I'll use MFP to log food and Fitbit to log exercise. Also check out the Fitbit user group on here. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

If you log your food on Fitbit it won’t transfer over to MFP.

I tried logging on there when I first got mine at Christmas. The data base is not as big so lots of foods weren't there that I normally eat. Plus all my regular foods come up automatically on MFP so it was just easier to stay with MFP. Because they are synced all my logging on MFP transfers over to Fitbit app anyway so I can look at my over all days intake in relation to output a little better than on MFP. As MFP defaults to 1200 you can't get a true picture of your actual calorie deficit for the day like I can with Fitbit.

No way will i ever log my food in fitbit. Their database sucks and it's a pain in the butt, MFP is so much easier.
