Sudden weight drops?!

Hi all,
I'm wondering if this happens to anyone else. I'll weigh in at a consistent weight for a few days or so,with only a 100g fluctuation, then the next time I do it suddenly I'm down half a kilo. Is that a thing? I just always assumed the loss would show a couple hundred grams at a time.

It’s normal. Weight loss isn’t linear. You’ll see it stay the same, rise, drop, all the time. Look at the overall trend rather than what happens day to day.5

Regularly, normally the morning after some effective bowel motions.1 -
my weight fluctuates up to 5 pounds any given day. its my normal range. and weight seems to come off for many of us in a 'rush'. we'll lose nothing for weeks, wake up one day and be down several pounds. weight loss is not linear.2
