Hey everyone! My plan is pretty vague I suppose. I started at 1200 net calories but I bumped it up to 1500 net. I’m losing 0.5-1lb a week as I want to. I haven’t logged my weight in about two weeks ish. For exercise I do cardio 30-60 min 6 days a week and I just started lifting 3x per week. I don’t have a set food plan.. I eat what I want in smaller portions. I don’t want to post my weight but I’d hope to lose 15-25lb. :) good luck everyone and thanks so much for your insight

    Isn't 160 rather heavy for a 5'9 woman? I'm a 5'10" man and ideally want to be 140 (10st).

Im a female and about 5'9 & 165 now, but when I was working with a coach @ 160-162 lbs I had my body fat % monikered....since I have a lot of muscle (I weight train and do cardio), my body fat was very low...so weight looks differently on everyone due to bone structure and amount of muscle. When I did get down to 145-149 before weight training, I looked too skinny and unhealthy

    I’m 5’10, 167lb!
Glad to see there are some taller chicks on here. Feel free to add me, im new on here!
My goal is to lengthen/tone my legs, also drop some weight to what I use to be 148lb.
I started pole dancing again last year. I hate the gym so this was a good alternative. Great thing is at the time I don’t realise I’m working out until the next day when I feel it. It has also helped me quit smoking (2months now) and has made exercising much easier, so now I’ve started doing 1hr home workouts.

Not a lady and not overly tall but 6'2 and over 300, I find it good and interesting to see people who are tall discuss the different sort of challenges we face, its not necessarily about weight on our frames, we look at different stats.

I'm female and 5'10'' tall, currently at 190lbs (started at 208 lbs a couple of months ago) and just found out about this page. My aim is 155 lbs by the end of May so I think it's quite achievable and specially now that I can register exactly what I eat and drink.

I’m 5’10”, large framed according to bone measurements, and started at 248, size 20/22, 3 years ago. I’m now at 185, size 12/14.

    I have several goals:
    - Get out of plus-sized clothing. Done.
    - Reach a lower-risk body fat measurement. Done.
    - Reach a lower-risk waist/height measurement. Done.
    - Be able to participate in recreational athletic events, like 5 or 10ks and sprint tris. Doing regularly now.
    - Reach a normal BMI, which happens for me at 171. Next! 14lbs to go.

Eta: My daily (pre-exercise) calorie maximum is 1800. That’s maintenance for my goal weight, so I’m losing slowly and steadily.

What kind of comment is this?

My people! I've only been at this about a week and a half, but I'm 5'11", SW 305, CW 298, GW (for now) 250, but I will see what I want to do next once I hit that milestone. I'm trying not to overwhelm myself. Feel free to add me! I don't have many friends on here yet. Good luck to everyone!

Edit to add my sizes: pants currently 22, and I seem to be right between a 1X and 2X in tops, so I'll just say 2XL.

Goal weight is currently 118 lb at 5’8”, weighed in today at 129.2 lb (gained 10lb since summer).

I don’t know my body fat content, but it’s probably disproportionate as I haven’t been to a gym in 8 years, but I’ve started doing yoga for some strength and try to use the elliptical 3 times a week at home. I’m finding it really hard to hit macros for a higher protein diet though (40% protein 30% carb 30% fat).

I am 5'9" current weight is 180 want to get between 150 - 160 depends on how my face look. I am turning 50 in March and I want my face to have a little fullness. It cuts down on the wrinkles ;)

I take Bootcamp, run, lift lots of weights, Zumba and currently working with a PT for more muscle training/toning.

How many calories are you guys eating? 1200 net was so low for me.. I did it and lost 7lb in 3 weeks on it, but. Since moved my net calories up to 1500-1800 calories net per day and I’m still losing just way slower and I feel like I have a lot more energy... I’m losing about 1lb a week on these higher calories

I just go with whatever MFP tells me to eat with my goal set to lose 2lbs per week. Right now, that number is 1710, it started at 1740. I readjust it each week with my weigh-in. I would STARVE on 1200! 1740 was even hard to get used to at first, but that just made me realize how much I was eating before.

How much attention do you all pay to macros? I'm finding it hard to make my protein and calcium goals- and the calcium especially worries me. I don't want to get osteoporosis!

Before exercise, MFP has me eating 1370 (I'm 5'9", starting weight 173, current 161.6) My goal was to lose a pound a week. I hope MFP never tells me I should eat 1200...I couldn't do it. 1370 is hard enough many days.
