Time for change, but help needed!

Hello all.
So I’ve made the decision that I can no longer go on as I have been. I am unhappy with the way I am. So I have joined MFP.
My BIG problems are motivation and self control. Has anyone got any useful hints and tips to keep these in check?

Motivation is what you want. Then you have to figure out what you need to get it done. If it's weightloss, it's pretty simple - eat less, move more. Now you have to figure out how you should go about to do that. Any method that relies heavily on self control and hope, is doomed to fail. You need real information and realistic expectations. You will need discipline, but your plan must be sustainable.0
