Who recommended this diet to you? If it was a book or website, do they have any suggested recipes or tips for making sure you meet your nutritional needs?

10 percent relocated from fat to carbs doesn't really qualify as high carb low fat, but why are you doing it, and if it's a diet, it has to come with some recipes or at least suggestions? But it's a normal distribution, so normal recipes should work fine, and if your goal is weightloss, your main focus should be on appropriate calories anyway, not macro split. Macro split can help you adhere to calorie deficit, don't let a random macro split make it more difficult to adhere.

I think macros aren't that important for most people (beyond protein and experimenting with what keeps you satisfied, which varies person to person). Nutrition is important, of course, but you can focus on that within most macro ratios.

That said, I'd start with logging what you currently eat and then decide how to make changes. Often it's just reducing serving size of whatever you are high on and increasing serving size of foods high in what you are low on.

Is this something prescribed to you (I know sometimes low fat is for a gallbladder issue, for example)? If so, it would be helpful to know the details and you should have gotten some instructions.

Never heard of a high carb diet. Any reason for this? If for weight loss then why not just maintain a calorie deficit, measure and log the foods you like?

high carb low fat is generally a plant based/vegan diet :p

I mean...I'm high carb right now because I had my gallbladder out unexpectedly recently and eating too much fat in a day makes me very ill still. It means I've been eating so many veggies. I do more than 20% protein too though. I dunno.
