Lack of Net Carb calculation throwing off pie chart

Hi everyone! I’m new to Keto Macro counting and also new to this app. How do Keto people get the macros calculated on the pie chart correctly incorporating net carbs (carbs minus fiber)? I only see a way to calculate the pie chart with total carbs, which of course totally throws off my percentages of fats:proteins:carbs. Thanks!!

You could use net carb entries? (there are lots in the database, or you could make your own?)0

At first I didn’t worry about the other macros, just aimed to stay at or below my net carbs. After a couple months I could see my daily average total carbs and set my macros using that average number.1

The pie chart is based on total calories, and there are some calories that will always be calculated for fiber, so it will be off in some way no matter how you do it, but you could create (and keep private) your own net carb entries.
I'd recommend ignoring the pie chart which is actually kind of misleading and pointless (if you eat 2500 with maintenance of 2000 you will gain, no matter what your percentages are) and focusing on total grams, though. If you track total carbs AND fiber you can easily subtract and see where you are.1
